Trivia: Quentin Beck says our earth is "dimension 616." In the comics, Earth-616 is the "main" dimension the majority of Marvel comics are set in.

Game of Thrones (2011)

A Golden Crown - S1-E6

Trivia: The horse heart that Daenerys eats was actually made of gelatin, and genuinely tasted dreadful - her physical revulsion at eating it is real. It had dyed pasta to simulate veins, and was injected with fake sugary blood, which attracted flies. The blood was so sticky and ended up covering Emilia Clarke to such an extent that after filming it glued her to the toilet seat.

Trivia: Spoilers! Tony Stark's line at the end "And I am Iron Man" wasn't in the script, in fact it wasn't even originally filmed, he just snapped his fingers. When editing the final battle together, the directors realised something was missing, and editor Jeff Ford suggested bringing his arc full circle with that line. They filmed it as part of reshoots, only a few months before the movie was released.

Trivia: When Steve is watching Peggy through the glass, she mentions that Braddock "hasn't checked in." This is likely a reference to Brian Braddock, known as Captain Britain in Marvel comics. No confirmation that he'll be appearing any time soon - might just be an Easter egg for the fans - but Kevin Feige has mentioned discussions relating to him and the MCU before.

Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Trivia: One of the time-travel movies referenced by Ant-Man is "Hot Tub Time Machine", which featured Sebastian Stan, who plays Bucky in the MCU. In fact several of the films or franchises mentioned during the scene feature MCU stars. "Star Trek" had Chris Hemsworth in a small role in the 2009 film (If Inhumans still counts as MCU, then Anson Mount has been on Star Trek Discovery). Scott mentions 'Die Hard, ' which had Samuel L. Jackson in the third film. Interestingly, they don't mention Doctor Who, which has featured myriad MCU actors over the years, including Karen Gillan (Nebula), Christopher Eccleston (Malaketh the Dark Elf), and David Tenant (The Purple Man).

Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Trivia: "New Asgard" is based in Tonsberg, Norway, but the filming location is in Scotland. As nods to that, the beer Thor's drinking is a Scottish brand and there's a bottle of Irn Bru on the windowsill.

Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Trivia: Spoilers! The prophecy/vision in Age of Ultron is semi-fulfilled in this film and Infinity War - Captain America's shield is broken in half, Hulk is unable to fight, Black Widow lies on her back in death, same as here, and Thor is in the same position when injured by Thanos as he appears in the vision.

Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Trivia: Near the start, Okoye submits a report about an earthquake in the Atlantic, saying they should leave it alone. This is a potential tease for Namor the Sub-Mariner, ruler of Atlantis. This has been hinted at before, with a map in Iron Man 2 showing a point of interest in the Atlantic - the same map which flagged up Wakanda long before the official introduction of Black Panther.

Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Trivia: The title "Endgame" has been teased in two previous Avengers films - most obviously in Infinity War, when Dr. Strange says "we're in the endgame now", but it actually originates more significantly in Age of Ultron, when Tony says "We can bust arms dealers all the livelong day, but that up there... that's the endgame."

Avengers: Endgame trivia picture

Trivia: In September 2018, before the title was announced, the Russo brothers posted an image of the set on Twitter, with the caption "Look Hard." Eagle-eyed fans worked out that shapes within the image spelled out "Endgame," later confirmed by the Russos.

Trivia: In the Blockbuster, Danvers blasts a standee of True Lies. The directors' first choice of standee was actually The Mask (which makes sense, being a green-skinned character who she'd rightly think was a Skrull and attack), but New Line Cinema refused to allow it.

The Dark Knight (2008)

Trivia: This film marks the first time an actor in a modern Batman suit could actually turn his head (the lycra 60s version notwithstanding). From the 1989 Batman through to Batman Begins, all the costumes had the same limitation - the actor's head was basically immobile.

The Flash (2014)

Goldfaced - S5-E13

Trivia: Sherloque develops a crush on Renee Adler, a clear play on "Irene Adler" from other Sherlock Holmes media. Although only appearing in one book, in TV shows/movies Irene is frequently a love interest of Holmes.

Trivia: Screenwriter Jonathan Hensleigh was interviewed by the FBI because of the detail in his script. They wanted to know how he knew so much about the Federal Reserve, the connected subway spur, aqueduct, etc. He simply told them the truth - the Federal Reserve let him look around as research. They showed him the plans, told him about the subway spur, and the aqueduct was mentioned in a magazine. He was worried they were going to arrest him at first, but they ended up telling him that the plan in the film was actually feasible, and made changes to ensure it wouldn't work in future.

Die Hard (1988)

Trivia: All the terrorists are wearing the same make of watch, a fact that was cut from the movie. On leaving the truck at the start they synchronised them, and after killing some of the men, McClane noticed the matching watches. This is primarily what gave away "Bill Clay" as being a terrorist - McClane, already suspicious, noticed the brand of watch he was wearing. These references were cut because of a change to the script. The ambulance being used at the end was a late addition, however the synchronisation scene took place in the truck, where there was blatantly no ambulance (as noted in the mistake section). As such they cut that shot as short as possible, banking on audiences not registering the lack of ambulance, but the price was having to lose all reference to the watches.
