Suggested correction: Most cameras don't use mirrors. Only DSLR/SLR cameras do, which allows you to use a viewfinder. Other cameras, camcorders, and television cameras don't need mirrors.
Other mistake: Watch when Carol is singing "Oh Come All Ye Faithful," as she walks down the line of on-lookers, an extra in the back moves along with her and keeps looking at the camera.
Revealing mistake: When Jemma enters the headshrinker's laboratory, there is a table with three heads on it each encased in glass. When it goes in close-up on the middle head, you can see that the table has a hole where the actor can slip in his head.
Other mistake: When translating Dutch for English, one translation uses "their" when it should've been "there." It's in the scene when we first see the lead cop talking to his daughter.
Continuity mistake: When the condo manager shows up at Billy's house to take Purple, and chases him round the garage, some stuff, including a white plastic basket, falls off a shelf twice; first in the wide shot, then again in a closeup of Purple's feet.

Deliberate mistake: When Barry is on the phone with Kent for the 2nd time (right before Barry invites Kent to the station), we see Dan (Alec Baldwin) in the booth trying to get Barry to hang up on Kent. Dan holds up a sign that says "dump HIM." Problem is, we are looking at a reflection of the sign, so the sign was actually written backwards, as a mirror image.
Continuity mistake: The main villain is trying the soft approach and wants to persuade David's ex-wife to side with him. As they are having a conversation about the bank loan, John Steiner's glass is raised - or not - depending on the camera angle. (00:37:00)
Continuity mistake: Michael Manfield (Danny Pope) walked to the Phillips' house for the in-house music presentations, but on his way home when he was sitting by the lake, his bicycle was on the ground. Visible crew/equipment: When Nicolas Cage returns to his apartment, you can see a crew member reflected in the mirror on the wall right after Cage passes in front of it. (00:11:35)
Continuity mistake: When Chris is kissing Evelyn on the bed her blouse is unbuttoned. A shot later and it's buttoned up. Then, after a shot of his face, the blouse is unbuttoned again.
Continuity mistake: At the cafeteria, Beverly says he’s tired and eats a candy bar. An instant cut later from the shot behind, his arm is lowered.
Continuity mistake: Hearing that Cope is around, Nadine asks "He's not here, is he?" as she stands up from the bench. Without her handbag, that is suddenly there at the cut. (00:09:50)
Audio problem: When in the bar before being put in the cell, Dolph grabs a gun from an MP and starts shooting up the bar. The sound of gunfire starts a split-second before he starts shooting.
Factual error: The events in the film take place in mid-1929, as evidenced by the first Academy Awards being presented in May. However, Wyatt Earp went to the happy hunting grounds in January of that year.
Other mistake: Christina suggests that they have found Atlantis. However, they start in Hawaii, which is in the Pacific. The general consensus is the Atlantis is in the Atlantic (or Mediterranean) and not the Pacific. Some people do suggest that the lost continent of Mu is in the Pacific.
Revealing mistake: Clearly not Susan Blakely when she goes topless. Her hair suddenly becomes curlier, that's a body double.
Visible crew/equipment: When Guarino is being taken away by The Hunter, you can see the rope used to pull him in the upper right corner of the screen. (00:46:05)
Revealing mistake: In the scene where Zuckerman is thrown to the floor in the gym and handcuffed, you can hear the handcuff ratchet click as it's placed and closed on her wrist.
