Continuity mistake: When Steven is doing his "Singing in the Rain" routine, his scarf is about to fall off his neck, but in the next shot it's knotted around his neck. The quick shot of Lila in-between does not prove to be enough time for him to re-tie it.

Revealing mistake: The "Great Train Robbery" actually took place on a two-track railway near Cheddington - the West Coast Main Line. However, the filming took place on the Great Central Railway steam line near Loughborough, which only had one track at that time. They laid a second track for the filming, but omitted to cut down a large tree at the end of the rails, which would block the path of a train. This is blindingly obvious, especially as they show this "atmosphere shot" twice. The tree is still there the second time.
Continuity mistake: When fleeing from the bar where she has been gang raped, Jodie Foster is wearing sneakers. In later flashback scenes of the rape itself you can see she's high heeled.

Factual error: "Kemo" is in the kitchen preparing food while everyone is studying. We see him putting raw meat (brains) in a pan, and then in real time we see him having a discussion with Pancho, and Pancho walks out. Kemo then says the food is done and asks if anyone wants some - but there's been no more than 60 seconds since he put it in.
Continuity mistake: When Pee-Wee and Winnie are having the picnic under the tree, he wipes a big gob of something from his face onto her dress. In the next shot, there is absolutely nothing on her dress.

Less than 15 seconds later, his wife, who was chatting with the Sheriff walks back to the car and he is almost completely dry, except for his hair.

Other mistake: When Satsuki enters the shot when she, Mei, and their father visit their mother in the hospital, Mei seems to be constantly staring up at their mother with her mouth gaping wide open.
Continuity mistake: When Garfield is entombed within the pyramid, Odie comes along and frees him by dislodging one of the pyramid wall's stones - the second one nearest the corner. But when viewed from Garfield's perspective an entirely different stone is missing from the wall, about two spaces closer to the wall's center. (00:12:15)
