The German soldiers then run up and one of them throws another grenade supposedly into the radio room. However, the actor in his attempt to throw the grenade into the room instead throws the grenade into the door and it bounces back into the hallway in which he is standing and lands in front of him, yet no one reacts to this and seconds later we see an explosion as if the grenade had actually gone into the room, but it is really on the floor in front of the door and would have certainly blown the German soldiers to bits.
Other mistake: The documents to which the Imperial Seal was stamped at both the coronations in Peking (1908) and 'puppet' coronation in Manchuria (1934) carry the same dates. We hear the sound of the diving plane, but do not see it. After the camera has been focused on the field for a few seconds, we see a large explosion, which is meant to represent the crashing plane. Other mistake: When Big Boys' men drive through the garage door trying to escape, Dick Tracy, the cops and the goons start opening fire. Yet, nobody seems to feel the need to stop and reload their weapon. They just keep firing without ever running out of bullets.
Other mistake: When Apollonia is smacked in the face by the Kid after announcing she's joining Morris's group, she falls into a dresser and knocks all the magazines off the top of the dresser on to the floor. When the same scene is replayed during the 'When Doves Cry' sequence, the magazines don't fall to the floor.
Other mistake: In the beginning, Adaline's husband dies. At the funeral, their daughter looks to be about ten. But then when Adaline is driving to her parent's place and the commentary says, "Where her five-year-old daughter is waiting for her." There's no way the child at the funeral was five years old.
Other mistake: Jack's parents were at a Halloween party when his mother went into labor. Later in the movie when he's asked by his teacher he says his birthday is September 12th.
Suggested correction: The movie doesn't specifically say this is a Halloween party. This may simply be a costume party which can and do happen multiple times a year.
As you stated, it doesn't say it's a Halloween party. In fact, there's signs in the room that say "Beaux-Arts Ball."
Other mistake: After the veterinarian throws blood all over the floor, we see clean spots appear on the floor in the shape of Sebastian's feet as he walks through the blood. Somehow he never has any of it stick to the bottom of his feet (even when he's in the puddle).
Other mistake: In the early part of the movie, Rommel is addressing his Officers on the Atlantic Wall. The "mid-shots" and "close-ups" are shot against a back projection. Rommel turns to view the sea/horizon and the view is exactly the same as their "mid-shots". The effect is a horrendous "jump-cut".
