Other mistake: Rusty's attorney challenges Dr Kumagai by pointing out that Caroline Polhemus' had had a tubal ligation, but the spermicide nonoxynol-9 was found in her body. Kumagai is caught off balance, totally flustered. In fact as an experienced medical examiner Kumagai would know that at that time nonoxynol-9 was thought to offer protection from HIV and was widely used by people at no risk of an unwanted pregnancy. He would have thrown this right back in the attorney's face.
Other mistake: When Michelle Pfieffer hands out menus for the restaurant in the class, they all read them out loud in English. Then when she takes Raul there, he says he can't read it because it's in French.
Other mistake: At the end, when Peter saves Mary Jane from the collapsing structure, he jumps up in the air and swings her to safety. However if you look at the web he is holding onto it is hanging down vertically. What did he attach the web to that was directly above him, the sky? Every bit of the structure around him was/had collapsed and the only thing remotely close to swing from was the cranes. Yet we see that was quite a distance away, so Peter would have had to shoot the web away from himself not above him. (01:47:50)
Other mistake: Sergeant Johnny Gallagher (Gene Hackman) and Lieutenant Milon Delich (Dennis Franz) are in a supposedly deserted building searching for a group of conspirators who plan to assassinate both the USA and USSR presidents. Delich finds a police colleague of his in the building, and Delich kills his colleague. When he fires his revolver, the sound of the blanks can be heard, slightly out of synch with the gun blasts on the sound track.
Other mistake: There is a patch on the jacket Harley (Rourke) wears, that appears and disappears throughout the movie. It's on the front lower right side. It is there when he's standing outside their friends' bar with Marlboro, it's gone when they are inside.
Other mistake: When Oliver is meeting Fagin and his boys, he says, "Is this a laundry then, sir?" You can see Jack Wild (Dodger) mouthing that line on the left side of the screen.
Other mistake: When Marcus and Kevin reveal their real identities to the crowd, their eye colour changes from blue to brown without any indication that they removed their contact lenses. They simply lift off their masks. (01:38:10)
Other mistake: When Dom and Cipher break into Mr Nobody's base, they use "the latest in concussion grenade technology which scrambles all senses and lasts an hour" which would include vision and is reflected as such. 2 min later Letty and Hobbs are able to see the kiss Cipher gives Dom.
Other mistake: Bryan is recording as his daughter is being taken. When Marko comes on the phone, Bryan unplugs the phone from the recorder to speak with Marko. So, he actually didn't record him saying "Good Luck" yet. On the plane, Marko says it on the recorder.
Other mistake: Towards the end of the movie, when the mobs are breaking into stores/houses, the police come to try and stop them. The mob starts to throw rocks at the police. You can see one of these rocks, which look like they should be heavy, bounce right off of one of the officers' heads, and just bounce around as it hits the ground, like it weighs nothing at all. (02:14:30)
Other mistake: When Stallone stops the bad guys in the semi full of cocaine, they fly through a windshield that is apparently made of plate glass, and not the safety glass found on almost every other vehicle windshield on earth.
Other mistake: Eddie comes to see Tom at the bathroom clean-up job and convinces Tom to confide in him. Eddie tells Tom that he'll, "See what Wallace knows". There is no character named "Wallace" - he was supposed to say "Vargas", the investigator on the case. The subtitles correctly reference Vargas.
Other mistake: During the post-robbery flashback where Mr. White has just killed two police officers, there is a shot of Mr. White saying, "Let's go." after determining that Mr. Brown is dead. As Mr. White & Mr. Orange leave the scene, you can see 3, maybe 4 men standing perhaps 20 feet away, lounging in front of a dark blue truck. For all the car-crashing & gunshots easily within earshot, those witnesses seem awfully nonchalant. (01:25:40)
Other mistake: When Bogomil gets shot two bullets are fired, one by the drive-by shooter and one by Karla, yet there are three distinct bullet holes and a forth large hole in the rear windshield of Bogomil's car. Two holes are completely unaccounted for. (None of the windshield holes are tree reflections.)
Other mistake: In Saw II, Jigsaw shares a story with Detective Matthews about how he attempted suicide after his cancer diagnosis by driving his car off a cliff. We then see Jigsaw pulling a metal rod out of the left side of his stomach. However, no puncture wound/scarring is visible on Jigsaw's stomach when his autopsy is being performed. (00:00:50)
Other mistake: According to the big photograph in their respective offices Bressler and the DA share the same pair of little daughters. (00:17:05 - 01:10:10)
Other mistake: When Mike goes to Marcus's house to apologize, as Marcus lets Mike in and they walk through the house you can see the corner of a very nice built-in pool through the glass doors, even though a large part of the beginning and the end of the movie take place in Marcus's '$3900' portable pool and its subsequent replacement. (01:34:20)
Other mistake: When Costigan drags a handcuffed Sullivan into the elevator, Costigan slams Sullivan against the wall and his left arm is visible and not in handcuffs. (02:13:05)
Other mistake: In the library scene, the guards are harassing the inmate by throwing books on the floor to make him pick them up.One of the guards drops a book on the floor to tell the inmate that he missed one but when he comes back to pick it up he actually picks up 3 books. (00:48:50)
Other mistake: Where does the fire in the gas pipes come from? Even though a lot of gas - and thereby pressure - is directed towards the power station, why do they blow up under ground far away from the power station?
