Continuity mistake: When the Sirius is first shown, there is an anchor near the front of the ship. Later on in the episode, whilst Tintin, Haddock and the detectives go to Francis Haddock's island, the anchor has vanished. (00:06:30 - 00:10:35)
Red Rackham's Treasure - S1-E5
Deliberate mistake: Haddock draws an X on the shark image of Calculus' box with a pencil. This was done as a visual gag, though the X mark is far too thick for the pencil that Haddock was using. (00:07:00)
Red Rackham's Treasure - S1-E5
Continuity mistake: When Haddock realises Calculus placed the shark submarines on the ship, he goes outside to find him and slips on a small puddle of booze. About two shots after this, the size of the puddle is suddenly much larger. (00:09:20)

Other mistake: When Haddock fires at the shark, he is firing to the right, but the shark is directly in front of him. The bullet is still heard hitting the shark anyway. (00:13:00)

Continuity mistake: When Tintin meets up with Thomson and Thompson at the market, the detectives have tanned skin. The shot cuts to Tintin asking the two of them "A little Sunday shopping?" and then cuts back to a shot of all three of them. Continuity mistake: When Tintin is about to buy the model Unicorn, there is an antique sale visible in the background. When Tintin says "Will you take 20 dollars?", a grandfather clock is shown, displaying 5:05. A couple of shots later, Sakharine pushes Tintin out of the way and the time suddenly changes to 2:00. (00:03:25)

Continuity mistake: Tintin is cleaning his apartment after it had been ransacked and is hanging a painting on the wall. (00:08:20)
The Secret of the Unicorn: Part 1 - S1-E3
Other mistake: When Tintin discovers the scroll under his drawers, he begins reading the French words on the scroll in English. He starts reading out by saying "Three brothers joined." This sentence translated into French would be "Trois freres rejoint." However, this is not what is shown on the scroll. The sentence shown on the scroll appears to be "Trois freres unys." (00:09:20)
The Secret of the Unicorn: Part 1 - S1-E3
Other mistake: After discovering the scroll, Tintin begins reading it out. The words on the paper, the words Tintin is saying, and where Tintin's eyes move as he read the paper don't seem to match up. Tintin first says "Three brothers joined", which covers the first half of the line, but the next shot then shows his eyes reading at the very end of the line. Tintin then says "Three unicorns in company sailing in the moon day sun will speak", and his eyes are then reading across the second line, but the start of the sentence is shown on the second half of the first line of the scroll. Revealing mistake: Francis Haddock lowers himself from the ropes to the lifeboat below. He steps foot inside the boat, but the bottom of his legs and his feet are still perfectly visible when they should have been covered up by the boat. This error in the animation makes the boat appear as if the boat is missing one of its sides. (00:18:50)
Chosen answer: If Hector was seriously intent on removing King Ottokar's scepter from the glass cage holding it and launching it through the window with the camera, then Hector would have been forced to knock out the two guards so they would not have interfered with Hector's plan as soon as he removed the scepter from the glass. As for Hector, himself, was explained when Tintin was explaining how Hector stole the scepter. Tintin placed a twig inside the camera and it launched out of the camera. Hector would have placed the scepter inside of the camera, and would have been knocked unconscious due to the spring effect created when the scepter had been launched.
