Character mistake: When the bell on Haddock's clock rings, there is a shot showing the clock with the time on 8:00. All of the numbers used to represent the time shown on the clock are written in roman numerals, however, the roman numeral for the 8 shown on the clock is written out as VI. Other mistake: After Manolo has told Haddock that the windows don't open, Manolo goes to leave and slips on a banana placed in the doorway. The banana's position in the doorway would not be possible. The banana landed on the floor after Haddock fell over the table in the hotel room and spilled the contents of the fruit bowl all of the room and then Manolo entered the room a second later.
