Continuity mistake: In the very first shot of the Sirius, the anchor is about 10 foot away from the Sirius sign and not yet released into the water. When the boat leaves the docks, the anchor is now a mere foot away from the Sirius sign and the anchor is now retracting from the water even though it wasn't even in the water a minute ago. Red Rackham's Treasure - S1-E5

Other mistake: Professor Calculus brings the parts for two shark submarines (he stated in the scene prior he would bring two) to the docks in two separate crates. The crates he uses to hold the submarine parts in would not big enough to hold the entirety of the submarine. The crates shown are only a couple of feet wide and even smaller in height, but the shark submarines shown in the episode are much larger than the overall size of the crate. (00:06:50)

Continuity mistake: When Calculus arrives at the docks to demonstrate the shark submarines, there are images of the submarines shown on each crate. There is no crease shown on the image on the top crate and there is a crease on the image on the bottom crate. A couple of seconds later, Haddock draws an X on the image shown on the top crate and the image shown on the top crate now suddenly has a crease on it. (00:06:50)
