Character mistake: Mr. Silk has a collection of the wallets he has stolen and has sorted them on shelves by alphabetising them. Each shelf takes two letters of the alphabet, which is where the name of each owner's wallet would be placed on the shelf as shown by tags at the top of each shelf. Tintin finds Max Bird's wallet on one of the shelves and the shelf next to has a tag reading "Q-R." This implies that the shelf with Max Bird's wallet must have a tag reading "O-P" since O and P come before Q and R in the alphabet. Shouldn't Max Bird's wallet be located on a shelf with the letter "B" representing "Bird" or "M" representing "Max"? (00:42:20)

Character mistake: When the bell on Haddock's clock rings, there is a shot showing the clock with the time on 8:00. All of the numbers used to represent the time shown on the clock are written in roman numerals, however, the roman numeral for the 8 shown on the clock is written out as VI. Eight in roman numerals should be VIII. (00:01:45)
Land of Black Gold: Part 1 - S2-E10
Character mistake: The man who escorts Tintin into the Emir's office asks Tintin if he is here about "today's events in the market" (referring to Thomson and Thompson crashing their jeep), to which Tintin replies "Yes", but seconds later, when Tintin is explaining his reasons to the Emir for visiting him, he states the events with the jeep occurred yesterday. Character mistake: When Rastapopoulos and Carreidas are arguing, Haddock intervenes telling them to cut it out. Rastapopoulos and Carreidas attempt to kick each other but end up kicking Haddock's leg. The kick is shown to have hit Haddock around the back of his leg, but Haddock then grabs his knee in pain. Character mistake: When the group is discovered by Allan, they all take cover behind a rock whilst Allan fires at them. Tintin's position behind the rock would not protect him. Allan is standing directly in front of them and Tintin in taking cover beside a rock that is to the left of him. The area in front of Tintin would still be exposed to Allan's gunfire. (00:26:00)
The Red Sea Sharks: Part 1 - S3-E1
Character mistake: Tintin follows Dawson out of the hotel and notices him getting into a green car. Tintin then gets into a taxi and tells the driver "Follow that black Jaguar", instead of the green car that Dawson was shown in. (00:08:45)
The Seven Crystal Balls: Part 1 - S3-E3
Character mistake: When Sanders is finishing the translation, the last sentence that he writes down is "Over the mountains and beyond the sea", but the sentence shown on the paper is "les mois et les monts"; this is French for "The months and the mountains." The real translation for "Over the mountains and beyond the sea" is "Sur les montagnes et au-delà de la mer." Even if the translation is carrying on from the previous line, a majority of the final sentence would still be incorrect in the translation. (00:02:25)
The Seven Crystal Balls: Part 2 - S3-E4
Character mistake: Tintin mentions that they passed a beige car on their way to the road block with four people inside. First, they did not pass this car. The car stopped at the road block, and after they were asked about the black sedan, they drove away. Tintin, Haddock and the detective then arrived at the road block in their car, coming in from a different lane. Second, the car that was stopped at the road block only had three people inside, not four. (00:32:20)
Chosen answer: If Hector was seriously intent on removing King Ottokar's scepter from the glass cage holding it and launching it through the window with the camera, then Hector would have been forced to knock out the two guards so they would not have interfered with Hector's plan as soon as he removed the scepter from the glass. As for Hector, himself, was explained when Tintin was explaining how Hector stole the scepter. Tintin placed a twig inside the camera and it launched out of the camera. Hector would have placed the scepter inside of the camera, and would have been knocked unconscious due to the spring effect created when the scepter had been launched.
