The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Just after Tintin is knocked out, the scene zooms out and cuts to black, and the scene returns to the Karaboudjan in the same room. There is a Crabe Extra tin visible that Tintin had dropped on the floor, about a foot from Snowy. When the shot cuts to a close-up of Snowy growling, the tin is closer to him. (00:10:50)

Revealing mistake: After Snowy has escaped the bad guy with the club, the scene cuts to Allan talking with Thomson and Thompson about Daws' death being an accident. The scene then cuts once again to Snowy running up a flight of steps. There is a hand rail on the banister, but it was incorrectly drawn. The hand rail is shown tilting, from right to left to right. (00:11:25)

The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: When Allan and his two crew mates go to question Tintin, they enter a room with a teal door with a handle. When they are inside the room a few inches of hull are shown under the door. As the three go to leave the room after the questioning, the teal door is now grey with a knob, and almost a foot of extra hull is now shown beneath the door. (00:12:25 - 00:13:00)
The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Tintin is locked in a room tied up to two pipes. There is rope around his torso and ankles which is connected to the pipes above and even his arms are tied up, connected to the pipes behind him. Allan then enters the room and the rope that was connecting his arms to the pipe is now nowhere in sight. It is partially visible for a few frames, but then vanishes for the rest of the shot. Then when the shot cuts to Tintin, there is suddenly rope wrapped all around the pipe behind him. (00:12:35)
The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1
Audio problem: As Snowy chews through the ropes keeping Tintin tied up, Tintin removes them and then says to Snowy "We've got to find a way off this ship. We've stumbled into a real hornet's nest, here." Snowy then replies with a bark, but his mouth is completely sealed shut and there is a rope in his mouth. For Snowy's bark to be possible, his mouth would had to have been open. (00:13:15)
The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1
Other mistake: After Tintin and Snowy run out of the room containing Mr. Kuraki, they are discovered by Allan and the two bad guys he is with. The three of them then take their guns out, aim them at Tintin and Snowy and begin to shoot them. The bullets miss Tintin and Snowy and end up hitting the wall. No bullet marks are ever visible in the wall after this. (00:14:25)
The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: After Tintin runs into the storage room, he barricades the door with several crates and Allan and the three bad guys are shown trying to get in by pulling on the door handle. At the end of the shot, the door handle is pointing upwards, but in the shot of Allan and three bad guys, the other end of the door handle is completely straight. (00:14:30)

Continuity mistake: When Tintin and Snowy run into the storage room to hide from Allan and the other two bad guys, the door to the room is white. A couple of shots later, as Allan says "Give it up. He's barricaded", the door is now teal. (00:14:30)
The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: When Tintin throws the planks of wood through Captain Haddock's porthole, they land on his head. Haddock turns his head and his glass of whiskey is almost full to the top. He then turns back to his table, saying "Back stabbing scallywags", and there is now less whiskey in his glass. (00:15:20)
The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1
Other mistake: During the first shot of Captain Haddock, there is a shot of his table with cards. You can see there are three of the same card (a red ace) on the table. Even if it's one heart and one diamond there's still an extra. (00:15:25)
The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: When Tintin tosses up the two planks of wood through Captain Haddock's cabin porthole, the rope is wound twice around the wood, but when Tintin reaches the porthole the rope is wound around the wood three times. (00:15:30)
The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: When Tintin throws the plank of wood in the upper window, the planks of wood take up the whole window. In the next shot of the window, the planks of wood are at the bottom of the window. (00:15:30)
The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1
Plot hole: Whilst Allan is searching the decks below for Tintin, a crew member is keeping watch of Captain Haddock in his quarters. Tintin secretly reveals to Haddock that he is hiding underneath his bed, without letting the crew member notice him and Haddock then looks towards him. The crew member was watching Haddock the entire time, so how does he not notice Haddock looking toward Tintin? (00:18:20)
The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: When Tintin and Haddock discover the sea plane headed for them, Tintin states it is coming in very fast, to which Haddock replies "Not fast enough for me." As he says this, his arms are shown waving around and that his right arm is raised far above his left arm. In the sudden shot following, Haddock's arms are now completely still and are partially lowered. (00:19:45)
The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1
Audio problem: When Haddock says "Not fast enough for me", his mouth doesn't match what he's saying. (00:19:45)
The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1
Other mistake: When the seaplane advances in on Tintin and Captain Haddock, the pilot begins to start shooting at them. The shot after this shows a POV shot where the bullets hit the water and keep getting closer to the boat. The third bullet is shown hitting part of the boat but no damage is caused. (00:19:50)
The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: The pilot of the seaplane has a mustache, and goes back to the site of the boat to see if Tintin and Haddock really are dead. When Snowy appears behind him and the pilot says "Where did you come from?", the mustache has vanished completely. Then as Tintin pulls on the pilot's leg, the mustache reappears again. (00:20:35)

The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1
Other mistake: When Tintin says "The police shall be waiting when the Karaboujan reaches Baggar" on the plane, one of his eyes is bigger than the other. (00:20:55)
Chosen answer: If Hector was seriously intent on removing King Ottokar's scepter from the glass cage holding it and launching it through the window with the camera, then Hector would have been forced to knock out the two guards so they would not have interfered with Hector's plan as soon as he removed the scepter from the glass. As for Hector, himself, was explained when Tintin was explaining how Hector stole the scepter. Tintin placed a twig inside the camera and it launched out of the camera. Hector would have placed the scepter inside of the camera, and would have been knocked unconscious due to the spring effect created when the scepter had been launched.
