Continuity mistake: The car chase from the gas station to the banana plantation happens with the mobsters driving two cars passing as one. The first car is a Ford Sedan with single headlights and front and back license plate 3F-2890, but the car speeding up in most of the shots driving through the long roads is a similar model with double headlights, different grill and without a front license plate (7F-7594 is the back one, but you may need to freeze-frame for this last detail). Visible crew/equipment: The art collecting felon spies Robin-2 leaving the premises and hops in his own car to go retrieve the painting. As he drives off, in one of the back windows a crew member is reflected in perfect detail. (00:40:10)

Continuity mistake: In close-up, Magnum hits the brake wearing Nike shoes with unmistakable logo. When he is checking out of the damage on the bumper, though, he's wearing different shoes, without the swoosh. (00:06:15 - 00:06:40)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the episode, the titular character makes his way towards the club. He glances at the Ferrari parked there, its nose towards the club. A couple minutes later, Magnum drags him out of the club (no valets involved), and the Ferrari now is parked facing the opposite direction and with a total change of natural lights. Continuity mistake: The position of TC's chopper on the helipad changes depending on the angle - in the wide angle with the camera pointing at the building, the skids are partially off the pad, they are within the boundaries in the other angle - and Magnum, the dog inspector and the dog hop on the chopper from a much larger platform in asphalt. The Curse of the King Kamehameha Club - S1-E11
Continuity mistake: After the sugarcane fire fiasco, everyone is nervous. Magnum yells "Stop it!" to Higgins when he makes a bitter comeback to Rick. Kinda hilariously, Magnum yells that at a Higgins wearing a yellow-and-blue tie, but the Higgins that glances at him all sly is a red-and-blue-tied Higgins. (00:26:30)
Revealing mistake: At the beginning of the episode, Magnum hangs up the phone and runs out of the guest house to heed Higgins' call and find the lawn swarming with ballerinas. As he comes out of the door, you can get a glimpse of the actual interior, which does not match the set used throughout the series. (00:06:00)
Continuity mistake: Magnum carries off stage the ballerina while the two CIA agents look at him. The white haired one has his hands on his pockets, but the jacket is closed in one shot and unbuttoned in the next. (00:44:30)

Revealing mistake: In the close-ups during the fight with Mr. Nishimoto, Tom Selleck is giggling and having a good time while an old army buddy of his just died and he supposedly fights to save his widow from spilling her guts on the floor. (00:45:20)
Other mistake: After hitting the "Delta block", Magnum tells Laura about it. The footage that opens the scene is taken from a previous episode, 1-3 "China Doll", around 00:35:00: same girl in orange bikini showering on the beach, same couple walking by the surf (he has kaki shorts and a blue hat, she is wearing orange). Visible crew/equipment: During the fake accident, in the semi-POV shoot with the camera behind the wheel, you can spot roadside the film unit (crew and equipment) that filmed the previous shot, with the car cutting the bike's path. (00:27:00)
Don't Eat the Snow in Hawaii - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: In this pilot, Robin Masters' Ferrari does not have the famous vanity plate ROBIN-1 characteristic of the series. The license plate of the car is 56E-478 when first shown, but does not stay the same throughout the episode; when the two yo-yos chase him, the Ferrari's plate is the first one in the city, but 561-068 when they get near to the tunnel, and is back to 56E-478 when the bad guys destroy their (already banged up) car. Continuity mistake: When Choi asks Ho about Mai Ling after exterminating all the tabletop curio in his path, miraculously the china by Ho comes back whole between shots. (00:14:25)
