Continuity mistake: In the first shot of Magnum's room during Rick's visit with Waldo's codes, the modem is to the left of the phone, along the left side of the bedstand. In close-up the modem and cables take the whole width of the bedstand, horizontally placed. (00:23:30)
Continuity mistake: At the hospital, there's a push button desk phone on the table between Lee's and Magnum's beds. There are two closeups of this telephone when both Lee and Magnum lift the handset, and the entire telephone changes to a multi-line desk phone. Plus, in Lee's handset closeup, his hospital ID bracelet changes from narrow to twice the width, and in Magnum's handset closeup, the large floral box of tissues change to a short box of tissues. Continuity mistake: For the ending, Rick is shown putting on his pants. Few seconds later, when Higgins shouts "Your uniform!" at him, he's putting on the belt with the gun holster, but a few seconds later the belt he's trying to buckle is still the pants', and the gunbelt is still on the table. Continuity mistake: At the bar, Rick's sister puts make-up on. She leaves the necessaire on the table when she begins to disrobe. She then picks up the clothes, and the make-up tools changed place and multiplied, showing also the brush and an additional powder box. (00:10:30)
Continuity mistake: In the club scene when Magnum finds out Rick's little sister is not that innocent, the same extras do back and forth plenty times, sometimes back-back or forth-forth too with no continuity. Continuity mistake: After Rick has covered the distance from the rocks to the house and touches the wall, it cuts back to TC's chopper with Magnum. In those two shots the chopper has flotation pads, while in all the other flight views it has the normal skids. (00:36:00)
Continuity mistake: The final automatic weapon burst that brings down the baddies breaks in close-up the right stoplight and the back license plate. The car rolls over, and before the explosion the license is in one piece, but taped blank. (00:42:55)
Continuity mistake: In the finale, Rick says "But those agents said..." his left hand in the shade and with its side flat on the table by the beer stack. Next shot and it's raised and in a different spot, and so on and so forth as the two angles switch. (00:44:20)

Continuity mistake: Magnum escorted the two old ladies at the Fointanbleu Residence. The one in red, Madge, has her hand on Jeanie's arm when she says they were actresses, but she kept her hands to herself in the previous shot. (00:07:25)
