Magnum, P.I.

Basket Case - S3-E14

Continuity mistake: During Magnum's first team practice, light conditions change from cut to cut - for instance when the chubby kid in green says "Tell him we're not playing football", and pronounced shadows appear all of a sudden. (00:05:30)

Basket Case - S3-E14

Continuity mistake: After scoring between Magnum's legs, the kid walks away. Magnum calls her back, and they have a brief exchange. She keeps her ball against her side with her hand when viewed from behind, with her arm in the frontal. (00:07:00)

Basket Case - S3-E14

Continuity mistake: Magnum and Higgins are bickering over the choice of colour in the jerseys. In the first shot, the jersey is partially over the side of the box and Magnum's basketball is on the table. Second one, and the shirt is fully inside the box and Magnum holds the ball. Back to the first angle, and the previous status quo, next change and the shirt is back neatly folded in, etc. (00:09:10)

Basket Case - S3-E14

Continuity mistake: Magnum just unleashed the kids on Mr. Masters' tennis court repurposed for shooting hoops. After briefly explaining to Higgins the concept of something called 'kids', he blows his whistle. Sun on his chest in close-up, shadow in the wider angle. (00:13:35)

Basket Case - S3-E14

Basket Case - S3-E14

Basket Case - S3-E14

Continuity mistake: Magnum is frustrated because Willie is late and he knows he's been lying to him. Higgins tries to calm him down; while they are talking, the string of Magnum's whistle runs on the inside or the outside of the left collar of his polo. (00:29:00)

Basket Case - S3-E14

Continuity mistake: Magnum is confronting Willie after she arrives over one hour late; during the scene, Tom Selleck' is with his hands on his hips, or with his arms relaxed down the sides, no continuity between shots, even pointing at her when he did not move his arm before. (00:30:40)

Basket Case - S3-E14

Continuity mistake: Magnum chases Willie down the road where she was trying to hitch a ride. When the talk, continuity issues arise aplenty, mostly with Magnum's hands being either on his hips or or not, but also with his whistle being caught in the collar of the polo at times. (00:34:00)

Basket Case - S3-E14

Continuity mistake: The reaction shot showing Willie as her teammate botches the fateful 2 points shows in the background TC and the supporters of the other team already celebrating when the ball has not gone out yet. (00:45:05)

Birdman of Budapest - S3-E15

Continuity mistake: A puzzled Higgins spots the drunk and disorderly Elizabeth Barrett sitting on the cart, champagne in hand. He greets her; when he states his actual name dispelling any rumor of him being a seagull, you can see a woman with a very colourful (rainbow, in fact) sweater walk behind him. The same woman passes another time, and is also at the conveyor belt, opposite side of the hall. (00:07:40)

Magnum: I could appeal to his heart.
Lieutenant Maggie Poole: Yeah. And his stomach.
Magnum: Oh, come on! That food stuff, that was just an excuse. Listen, underneath that stomach was a heart as big as...that stomach.
