Continuity mistake: After Hogan calls off the volleyball game to go see what Kinch wants, he goes into the barracks. From the outside, the door is already open. When the camera shot is indoors, Hogan is opening the door again.
Continuity mistake: When Shultz comes out of the NCO Club, he bumps into Klink. After yelling for a moment, Shultz talks with Klink. While talking, Klink has his monocle on. After taking a couple of steps past Shultz, he turns around and addresses Shultz again; when he does so, you see that the monocle is missing, without being taken off.
Continuity mistake: When out at the volleyball net, Hogan is called by Kinch. While walking in, Hogan's hat is positioned as normal. When the shot is inside, the bill of his hat is down shading his eyes, and he pushes it up into its regular position.
Factual error: In the rec hall where Klink is weightlifting, there is an advertisement poster for the Grindelwald region on the wall, which is in Switzerland. The German propaganda poured a lot of money into promoting the Reich's own recreational regions through the "Kraft durch Freude" program. With the war going badly, they especially wouldn't want a "Look how beautiful Switzerland is" poster in plain view of their troops every day.
Visible crew/equipment: As Klink and Schultz approach the barracks where Le Beau is "weightlifting", there is a cord or cable along the ground that would be for studio equipment.
Continuity mistake: When the woman is kissing Klink in town, she hands a note to the boy who puts the note inside the spare tire's hubcap. There was no tape to stick it anywhere, yet when LeBeau goes to get the note, it is stuck with tape to the center of the spare tire.
Continuity mistake: When Schultz comes over to talk to the boys, they open the truck door that has a map on it in chalk. They erase it, and go to close the the door on the right side of the shot. When the camera angle changes, they're closing the truck door again.
Factual error: Burkhalter refers to Jesse Owens winning the gold medals in the Berlin Olympics, and that Hitler left the stadium every time Owens was to be presented a medal. Truth was, Hitler left the stadium when another black man won the day before, and didn't snub Owens at all. In fact, Hitler wasn't in attendance the days Owens won.
Other mistake: Usually, the picture at the podium has the microphone "bug" for Hogan, and it's blatantly obvious, except to the Germans. This time, there is no bug, but an extra picture that the boys can take the eyes out of and listen in.
Continuity mistake: Klink comes out with the "insurance policies" in his hand. They are lying beside each other, with a little space between them, and tilted in one position in his hand. When the camera goes into a close up, they are touching, and in a different position.
Revealing mistake: As the building is being prepared for the upcoming event, and men are going in and out, as Shultz goes to report to Klink, look past him and the roof behind him. You can see the studio water tower in the distance.
Continuity mistake: Col. Klink is eating lunch. The meat on his plate moves from the left side to the right. (00:16:00 - 00:17:00)
Continuity mistake: After shooting the bridge with the tank, a cap at the end of the tank barrel is off. When carter says he is going to miss a captured film, the cap is on. In the next shot the cap is off again.
Suggested correction: There is no mistake. That was not the end of the gun barrel. Look closely.
Continuity mistake: As in S5: Ep1 "Hogan Goes Hollywood", the bridge Hogan looks at through binoculars is vastly different than the one wired with explosives. When the bridge blows up, it is a re-use of the footage from earlier episodes.
Continuity mistake: Even though Carter pops his head out of the hatch to talk to Hogan, it isn't Carter that's seen in the window as the tank approaches Hogan's position.
Visible crew/equipment: As Burkhalter is talking to Strauss and Klink in front of the office door, you can see the shadow of the boom mic moving over each as they talk.
Other mistake: The men are usually all wearing boots. When Carter goes up the ladder, it's clear that he has high-top sneakers on.
Continuity mistake: The whole operation is supposed to be at night, but when the original seven approach the gate to surrender, it's late afternoon, and very light.
Continuity mistake: In the tunnel, Hogan lays out the plan. The arms of the man next to him goes from crossed to by his side between angles.
Six Lessons from Madame LaGrange - S5-E22
Character mistake: The SS guard salutes Major Hochstetter with his palm out, in the British fashion. Firstly, German soldiers salute palm-down, secondly, by the Wehrmacht (and SS) military protocol, he should just click his heels and not salute at all when receiving an order.
