3 mistakes in season 7 - chronological order

(6 votes)

The Naked Truth - S7-E2

Revealing mistake: While showing the clip of Marshall streaking the first time, you can see thumbnails for videos of him streaking in New York. Those videos were created later that day and could not already be posted. One also shows a woman in yellow and appears to be a retake of the scene. (00:06:15)

Symphony of Illumination - S7-E12

Revealing mistake: While Marshall is on the roof putting up Christmas lights he accidentally drops his cell phone, which supposedly then falls to the ground where Scott picks it up and holds him hostage on the roof. But the cell phone can be seen to fall harmlessly into the gutter and can be seen behind the ladder, despite the added sound of it hitting the ground. (00:10:45)

Marshall: You should definitely go. Look, it's a chance to show her you are still friends and that you support her.
Barney: Or it's a chance to mess with her head by showing up with someone hotter, or even better, triple threat, hotter and bigger boobs!
Ted: That's only two.
Barney: Count again.

More trivia for How I Met Your Mother

Answer: After running the marathon for Marshall with no training, he's allowed to ride the subway for free. While sat on the train, the muscles in his legs start to seize up after the marathon to the point it is painful to move his legs. This is why he can't move them. It's the same reason your body aches after a good session at the gym the day before.

Answer: Barney ran a marathon without any training and over exerted his muscles. While he was able to walk after, later his leg muscles gave out and he couldn't move (or more likely stand). It is not uncommon when one works out too much to be sore the next day, even if they feel okay afterwards. Thus the saying "I'll feel that in the morning."
