Continuity mistake: When Rory finds his dad on the spaceship, Brian is lying on a gurney next to the two farthest slabs, which are empty. When Amy and the Doctor come through the portal to the spaceship, Brian's gurney is between the two closest slabs, with Rory lying on the closest one, which previously had a completely different person lying on it. (00:35:05)
Factual error: During the standoff after the Doctor forces Jex over the town's boundary line, Amy manages to make a revolver accidentally fire off twice in a row. Revolvers like that need to be cocked between each firing, which didn't happen the second time. (00:23:54)
Continuity mistake: When Amy's holding a revolver while arguing with the Doctor, just before she accidentally fires it a second time, she goes from holding it pointed to her right to holding it pointing to the ground in front of her between shots. (00:23:53)
Revealing mistake: Just before Strax leaves grumbling that he's going to play with his grenades, if you look closely you can see his face mask peeling. (00:27:45)
Factual error: The Doctor says that the Earth is six billion years old, which is one and a half billion years over - it's only 4.5 billion years old. (00:21:25)
The Snowmen - S7-E7
Continuity mistake: When the Doctor is explaining what the intelligence in the giant snow globe is, though enclosed, the amount of "snow" alternates from a fair mass to a few handfuls and back several times.
Revealing mistake: When Jex's ship explodes, we see the smoke drifting over town. But it's really obvious that the smoke is coming from the next street, not miles away where Jex's ship is. (00:42:06)
Other mistake: As the Doctor passes a stack of three cubes, the camera is close enough to see the top cube has two small squares intertwined on the side facing diagonally toward the light. He said all were the same, no difference or individuality whatsoever. (00:03:53)
The Bells of Saint John - S7-E8
Factual error: The view from Ms Kizlet's window was taken somewhere in the vicinity of London Wall eg. the Museum of London, not from The Shard.
The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe - S7-E1
Revealing mistake: When Cyril is walking around the statue and chair in the tower, if you look closely you can see the statue's hands move or shake. (00:30:14)
The Day of the Doctor - S7-E16
Continuity mistake: After the 10th Doctor marries Elizabeth, they kiss. While they are kissing, the collar on his jacket gets turned up, from her point of view. The camera then switches to look at her from over his shoulder, then back, and now the collar is straight. (00:49:40)
The Day of the Doctor - S7-E16
Continuity mistake: At the end, when the Tenth Doctor steps into his TARDIS, there are three sets of cups and saucers on the side of the bench farthest from the TARDIS, and Clara's set in the middle of the bench, but as the TARDIS fades away, there are two sets on each end of the bench. (01:14:10)
Continuity mistake: When the Doctor is at the Tower of London with Amy and Kate, he claims he needs some air. When Amy follows him she follows him twice, in two different shots. The first time on 'ground view' walking and the second time on 'above view' running. (00:21:20)
The Day of the Doctor - S7-E16
Deliberate mistake: Looking closely at the floor of Eleven's console room reveals that the part of the floor around the console facing the door has been discreetly raised up, which it isn't in any other appearance of this console room, so that Clara can ride her motorcyle inside it without going down two steps. This wasn't in any previous episode and is gone in the next one.
Suggested correction: The Tardis has constantly shown it can change its internal structure to fit its needs or desires.
The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe - S7-E1
Factual error: Cyril is introduced looking at the Moon with a telescope... in a brightly-lit room through a window with the curtains mostly shut, circumstances in which he's not going to see anything at all. (00:03:56)
The Day of the Doctor - S7-E16
Revealing mistake: When Osgood tells Kate that they're using Derren Brown as the explanation for flying the TARDIS into Trafalgar Square by helicopter, the two women are standing in front of the TARDIS. Its door is slightly open, revealing an interior that is obviously a picture. (00:05:00)
The Day of the Doctor - S7-E16
Other mistake: Billie Piper is listed as playing "Rose" in the closing credits. Rose was certainly mentioned, yes, but Piper in this episode was actually sentient superweapon the Moment, who merely took Rose's form, and was in all other respects nothing like the former companion.
Plot hole: At the beginning, when the Doctor, Clara, Angie and Artie get off the TARDIS, the two kids are absolutely convinced that they're on the Moon, despite the Doctor explaining that they're actually at the Spacey Zoomer ride on Hedgewick's World, the greatest amusement park in the universe. The kids only realise they really aren't on the Moon when Webley emerges from inside of a fake rock formation, followed by the soldiers. The part of the room that the soldiers come from, which should have been fully visible to the time travellers from the beginning - in fact, they should have been looking directly at it when they leaned out of the TARDIS in the very first shot - looks nothing like the Moon and contains a sign for the Spacey Zoomer ride and a large map of the amusement park. (00:00:01 - 00:00:45)
Suggested correction: Perhaps they didn't see everything and only focused on small things, or they remembered the Futurama episode with an amusement park set on the moon.
The Day of the Doctor - S7-E16
Plot hole: Among the various contents of the Black Archive are visible several objects that shouldn't be there, because it is impossible for U.N.I.T. to have acquired them. In particular: A detonation pack from "Planet of the Ood", set in the 42nd century, a few thousand years in the future. The Supreme Dalek's shell from "The Stolen Earth"/"Journey's End" - it was shot and killed by Jack Harkness, destroying the shell. The restraint chair from "The End of Time", last seen on the Vinvocci's ship. The makeshift sonic screwdriver built by the alternate Amy from "The Girl Who Waited", since that version of Amy was wiped from existence. A different explosive carried by Gregor Van Baalen in "Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS", which is both set in the future and involves a complicated situation in which the events ended up technically not happening.
The Snowmen - S7-E7
Continuity mistake: As Clara first realises the differences in the TARDIS exterior and interior, she goes to circle the outside, leaving the door open. A second later, it's closed, but open upon her entrance.
