Continuity mistake: When Martha finishes listing off the bones of the hand to Joan, in order to prove that she's a medical student from the future, in a shot facing Joan, Martha's thumb is extended. In the next shot, facing Martha, her thumb is suddenly folded back, as if she was using her hand to display the number 4. (00:12:15)
Revealing mistake: When the Gamestation's transmissions are cut off by solar flares, there is a close-up of a screen going over to static. In the upper right corner, a box with "Play" written in it is visible, revealing the image on the screen as a video. (00:34:50)
Continuity mistake: When the Doctor sonics the payphone so Donna can call her mother, he's doing it with his right arm, then it cuts to close-up and he's using his left arm. (00:09:00)
The Impossible Planet (1) - S2-E11
Continuity mistake: In shots of the base's Ood habitation area from above, the Ood are shown in four rows from left to right, with the Ood in the third row standing with their backs against the room's middle partition and the other rows sitting on benches. However, in a shot from inside the lower area when the Doctor and Rose first go to Ood habitation, the third row is shown sitting as well. Not until later in the episode, when Danny is ordering the Ood to remain in the room, is the third row shown standing again. (00:25:15)
Continuity mistake: The episode repeats the closing scene of "Doomsday", when Donna unexpectedly appears in the TARDIS. However, several details are different. One, the console room is more brightly lit than in the previous episode. Two, the shirt belonging to Rose that Donna finds draped over a railing was not present. Three, the Doctor's coat (draped over a ceiling support) has shifted in place, despite not being touched. (00:01:15)

Continuity mistake: When the Shade leaves Clara and she falls, her body is twisted because of the way her legs are bent with one on top of the other and her arms are out to the side. In the overhead shot of her, her positioning has changed, her body isn't twisted and her arms are more straight down her side.

Continuity mistake: When Clara mentions worrying about a witch in a gingerbread house while she and the Doctor are searching for Maebh, the phones she is holding switch hands between shots. (00:20:11)

Continuity mistake: Near the end, when the Doctor and Clara are standing by the TARDIS on the planet they took the Teller and its mate to, Clara's hands go from touching the buttons on her jacket to loosely clasped lower down. In the third shot of her, they return to the first position. (00:44:28)
Continuity mistake: During Clara's first conversation with Danny, the folders in her hands are unmarked in close-ups, but have labels on them in wide shots. In addition, the folders and newspaper she's holding keep changing position between shots. (00:07:30 - 00:08:26)
Continuity mistake: When Clara exits the TARDIS in Sherwood Forest for the first time, she closes the door. Shortly thereafter, when Robin draws his sword on the Doctor, the door has opened itself. (00:04:24)
Continuity mistake: When Robin Hood has finished introducing the merry men to the Doctor and Clara, Clara says "You really are Robin Hood and his merry men" and she is shown with her arms parted away from each other. In the next shot, her arms are suddenly closer to her. Then in the next shot, her hands are now closed together. (00:08:25)
Continuity mistake: When Alex is hugging George after rescuing him from the peg dolls, George's arms are down in shots facing Alex, but his left arm is up in shots facing him. (00:37:23)

The Time of Angels (1) - S5-E4
Continuity mistake: When the Doctor and Amy are in the museum looking at the Home Box, after they steal it, they run to and enter the TARDIS, which is parked at the end of the hall by the last glass case. However, in the first shots of them in the museum, the camera was pointed directly at that spot, and the TARDIS wasn't there. (00:01:30 - 00:02:00)
Chosen answer: The Master knows that deep down, he deserves death for the crimes that he's committed throughout his life, and since he regards The Doctor as his arch-foe, he expects it to be at his hands. The fact that The Doctor is still willing to forgive him for all of his crimes hurts him more deeply than death would.
