Chocolate With Nuts / Mermaid Man And Barnacle Boy V - S3-E11
Corrected entry: In all the episodes Mermaid Man and the Barnacle Boy have 4 fingers in each hand. When Barnacle Boy in this episode, starts making his demands, suddenly he has 5 fingers in his hand.
Chocolate With Nuts / Mermaid Man And Barnacle Boy V - S3-E11
Corrected entry: In this episode, Branacle Boy enters the EVIL society. In that society, Dirty Bubble and Man Ray appear. This is impossible. Dirty Bubble died in Mermaid Man And Barnacle Boy II, and Man Ray stopped being a villain in Mermaid Man And Barnacle Boy III. So if all of this happened, no EVIL society would exist.
The Great Snail Race / Mid-Life Crustacean - S3-E15
Corrected entry: SpongeBob says, "Squidward's last name is Tentaces?", as if he doesn't know that. But in "Artist Unknown", an episode that took place before this one, Squidward says his last name after he says that SpongeBob has no talent.
Correction: The point of the mispronunciation is the joke in the episode. Everyone seems to get his last name so horribly wrong. If you want to be technical, Spongebob doesn't really refer to Squidward by his last name and we can assume that maybe seeing it written on the certificate he presumed it was something different from Tentacles. A bit like how some names can sound and be pronounced much differently from how they are written.
Chocolate With Nuts / Mermaid Man And Barnacle Boy V - S3-E11
Corrected entry: In Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy V, Barnacle Boy says he is 68 years old. However, in the previous "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy" episode, when Spongebob finds Mermaid Man's Belt, Spongebob mentions for 60 years it's been used to help protect. Although Barnacle Boy is Mermaid Man's sidekick (and a sidekick is usually younger), 8 years of age seems a little young to be a sidekick.
Correction: Actually while it may seem inconcievable, in the episode "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy II" Mermaid Man talks about an young apprentice he once had who was as eager as Spongebob. Mermaid Man then holds up an photo of Barnacle Boy as a toddler in nappies. It could be then believed Barnacle Boy started training to be Mermaid Man's sidekick as soon as he was an appropriate age (in this case 8 years old).
Wet Painters / Krusty Krab Training Video - S3-E9
Corrected entry: When it shows the Rusty Krab (the Krusty Krab when it was still a retirement home) it has the Krabby Patty poster on its window.
Correction: This seems to be more of a deliberate mistake. In the shot the narrator says "and with some minor changes", and all that is different is the senior citizens have moved despite expecting to see major changes being as it was a retirement home. The joke is he didnt really do anything to change it just got rid of the old people and in the next shot put up a red K in front of the Rusty.
The Snowball Effect / One Krabs Trash - S3-E3
Corrected entry: Squidward's fireplace was behind Squidward early in the episode, but later on when Squidward throws a snowball and misses Spongebob and Patrick, it's in front of him.
The Snowball Effect / One Krabs Trash - S3-E3
Corrected entry: A clarinet of that length couldn't be perfectly hidden inside a snowball that's about one quarter the size.
Correction: It's a joke to show how seriously Squidward is taking the snowball fight. (Patrick even says so).
New Student Starfish / Clams - S3-E14
Corrected entry: In "Clams," after they've been searching for the Clam for I think three days, Squidward has grown a beard and head of hair. But in other episodes, he's upset because he's bald. If he can grow hair, then why did he rip it all out?
Correction: This was used to show how irrational Mr. Krabs was being about how long they would have to stay out there and find the clam.
SpongeBob's House Party (aka Party Pooper Pants) - S3-E10
Corrected entry: After Spongebob is arrested, he comes back to his house in the morning. When he gets to his bedroom and sees Gary, he says 'Goodnight Gary', and turns off the light.
Correction: This is because SpongeBob had been up all night and was going to bed. When people go to bed even during the day they will say goodnight out of habit of saying the phrase when they go to sleep.
Born Again Krabs (aka A Penny Saved) / Safety Freak (aka I Had An Accident) - S3-E17
Corrected entry: In "I Had An Accident", there's one scene where Sandy sticks her head into Spongebob's porthole to yell at him. The porthole is NOT open, therefore Sandy would've hit her head in the porthole window.
Correction: Maybe he doesn't have glass at his house.
The Great Snail Race / Mid-Life Crustacean - S3-E15
Corrected entry: How can Gary, a simple snail, be able to turn on a TV, and THAT fast?
Correction: Gary is no simple snail though. He can sing (I was a teenage Gary), he can recite poetry (at that talent show in the Krusty Krab), so if Gary is so simple then he wouldn't be able to turn on the TV in the first place.
Wet Painters / Krusty Krab Training Video - S3-E9
Corrected entry: In "Wet Painters", we have NO evidence of Patrick drawing a crayon face and $ signs onto the painted dollar, yet Mr. Krabs notices the dollar and there they are.
Correction: This was probably either meant to be funny, or Patrick did it when Spongebob had his back turned when wondering what to do with the dollar before Mr. Krabs saw it.
Wet Painters / Krusty Krab Training Video - S3-E9
Corrected entry: Why did they take such a LONG time to finally bring the Krabby Patty out?
Correction: That's the joke.
No Weenies Allowed / Squilliam Returns - S3-E6
Corrected entry: How did Spongebob and Sandy get all of their Karate Gear in either a small bag or out of nowhere?
Correction: IT'S A CARTOON! Some suspension of disbelief is expected. It's common in cartoon for characters to pull a ridiculous number of items out of a small bag, or even a pocket.
Corrected entry: When Patchy is being "eaten" by the t-rex, you can tell he is lying down flat on his back on a green screen floor, and the t-rex is just a puppet held next to him.
Correction: Yes, we can all tell that it's a puppet, which is why it was deliberately drawn that way for the humor. So where's the mistake?
Correction: Its a joke on all the demands he has when it seems likely he just had one or two demands. Despite usually only having four fingers he is still counting when he should have stopped at four.
