Corrected entry: In Imitation Krabs the first few shots show Spongebob's spatula without any slits in the head. However for every other episode it has slits in the head.
Corrected entry: The show Spongebob Squarepants was originally made for adults.
Correction: This is just a plain lie and started as an Internet rumor. The story behind the rumor was Spongebob Square Pants was originally going to air on Adult Swim. However, Spongebob debuted on Nickelodeon in 1999 and Adult Swim wasn't even created until 2001. Additionally, creator Stephen Hillenburg already worked with Nickelodeon on a previous children's show and always wanted to continue working with Nickelodeon.
Corrected entry: Throughout the whole series there was never a tree in Squidward's front yard. But in episodes like Christmas Who and The Snowball Effect there is a tree in the middle of Spongebob and Squidward's houses.
Correction: That could easily be a Christmas tree. It is snowing in these episodes, which most likely means it's Winter. The most well-known icon for Winter is Christmas, so the tree could have been put up for Christmas.
Corrected entry: There are times when Spongebob is right handed and other times when he's left handed. For instance, in the episode where he has to wear round pants, he fills out the Krusty Krab application with his right hand, but as he's taking notes from Squidward he's using his right hand.
Correction: In the episode "The Splinter" he mention's that he's ambidextrous. Not a mistake.
He also says he's extremely ambidextrous in You Don't Know Sponge.
Corrected entry: This occurs in many episodes. Sometimes, Spongebob will walk into the Krusty Krab to start the work day and customers already have food. Squidward and Mr. Krabs have both been proven to be bad chefs, so it couldn't have come from them. Some examples: it occurs in "Sailor Mouth", "Where's Gary", and "Pressure".
Corrected entry: The road to the Krusty Krab changes depending on the episode. Like in "Your Shoe's Untied" it is a crossroad, but in "Pickles" it's just a road going to the side.
Correction: And sometimes the Krusty Krab is a long distance from Spongebob's house, and sometimes it's literally right across the street. Normal continuity does not seem to apply in Bikini Bottom. Things shift and change all the time, on purpose.
Corrected entry: In some episodes, SpongeBob's house is apparently an actual pineapple (e.g. "Home Sweet Pineapple"), but in other episodes, it is apparently made of wood like in "Opposite Day", when they tear down the house and rebuild it.
Correction: Things in Bikini Bottom change all the time. For example, sometime's Squidward's house is there, and sometimes it's not.
Corrected entry: In "Pranks-a-Lot" Spongebob is still wearing his socks and shoes when invisible. Shouldn't they have noticeable stains after they become visible again?
Correction: It's a cartoon. Most things in the Spongebob universe do not follow reality. Things appear, disappear, and change instantly and constantly all the time.
Corrected entry: In the episode "Pressure," Spongebob, Patrick, Mr. Krabs and Squidward go up to land and they can breathe air. But in other episodes like "Tea at the Treedome," Spongebob can't breathe air in the dome, or like "Big Pink Loser," where Patrick says, "Island, I got an award," but he can't breathe air for even a few seconds.
Correction: There is a few differences with the dome and when the gang was on the surface. The dome is somewhat like a glass house, sunlight is essentially the only element entering. That means there is either little to no moisture and no wind. Additionally the sunlight would make it much warmer than outside drying them out much quicker. With moisture in the air on the surface they would last longer. As we see they don't stay very long on the surface. As for when Patrick can't breath for very long in "Big Pink Loser" he was racing around everywhere and might have had to exert more energy jumping out of the water. In "Pressure" they were close to the surface before going on land.
Corrected entry: Whenever a license is seen, Spongebob mentions something about a mustache.
Correction: In the season 4, episode "Gone" he makes himself a licence and never says anything about a mustache.
Corrected entry: In the episode Dunces and Dragon's (Lost In time)., In the scene where SpongeBob gets a eyelash plucked out by a guard he has eyelash's but in every other scene he has no eyelash's just eyebrows.
Correction: Actually, spongebob always has eyelashes in every scene and episode.
Corrected entry: In the episode 3-21 "Pranks A Lot", SpongeBob asks what can he buy with 1 dollar, and the salesman gives him and invisible spray, that it's worth exactly 1 dollar. As we know, that's all the money that SpongeBob has, but when he pays the dollar for the spray, he gives more than 1 dollar.
Corrected entry: In various episodes the rooms in Spongebob's house change, and make it too big to all be the same size as the exterior of his house.
Corrected entry: The windows on Spongebob's house (other then the ones on the front) are always changing position.
Corrected entry: In several episodes, Squidward and Spongebob are cleaning plates and cups at the Krusty Krab - but you never see anyone eating/drinking out of one at the Krusty Krab.
Corrected entry: In 3-59 "Krabby Land," when Mr. Krabs introduces Krabby Land, the shape of the structure under the tarp is immense. When he removes the tarp we can that see the structure is the inferior structure that it is.
Correction: That's to hide the poorness of Krabby Land.
Corrected entry: In some episodes SpongeBob has a garage and in most he doesn't, and also, why would he have one if he didn't drive?
Correction: Spongebob's house changes a lot. Sometimes he has an attic, sometimes he has a cellar. And also, many people have garages that aren't used to store cars. My garage is filled with boxes, and has NEVER had a car in it.
Corrected entry: In the episode "Missing Identity", SpongeBob says that he has never eaten Gary's food (that's why he tastes it). However, in "I was a teenage Gary", an episode that took place before this one, SpongeBob does taste Gary's food, when he's mutating. This not only happens in this episode, it happens in many. In the episode "Opposite day", we also see him eating Gary's food, saying "Meow".
Correction: The episode Missing Identity could be at a time before the other two.
Corrected entry: In most of the shows, the grill in the Krusty Krab is right behind the front counter, with only a wall between them. But in "Your Shoe's Untied", it is on the other side of the kitchen.
Correction: As seen in some episodes, such as Nature Pants, there are two grills- one on each side of the room.
Corrected entry: The spots on SpongeBob always changes between shots. For example, one shot, there is a big round spot on him, but in the next shot, it would be either somewhere else, or in a different size.
Correction: This would only be a mistake if it was say the same scene, some period. Different spatula between episodes could be allowed for a variety of reasons.
