Audio problem: When Warren, Jonathan and Andrew break into the museum to get the diamond, Warren makes a hole in the glass, then pushes it through, but when it lands, it sounds like plastic, not glass.
Visible crew/equipment: Just after Dawn says "I like the trailers", we fade to black/commercials, then up again. Keep a close eye on the left side of the screen - you can see what looks like someone's hand flash into frame for a second, despite Dawn being alone in the room - looks like the director's hand signalling action. (00:25:50)
Revealing mistake: After the demon throws Buffy into a wall, she crashes to the ground. As she backs away, you can see the blue crash mat she landed on in the bottom left of the screen. (00:33:55)
Visible crew/equipment: When Willow and Dawn are running away from the demon, Willow uses magic to unlock a car for them to escape in. On the right side of the screen, shadows of crew members can be see as the car's doors open and are gone when Willow uses magic to make the car drive away.
Continuity mistake: The episode begins the morning after Buffy and Spike first have sex. That night, Willow and Amy go out again to find Rack's place, and this cuts directly to Willow waking up the next morning. But later in the episode, Spike makes repeated references to what happened between him and Buffy "last night", when in fact it was two nights ago.
Continuity mistake: Just before Buffy storms out on Spike, she puts on her denim jacket. When viewed from in front we can see the jacket is only half over her shoulders and her hair is loose. The shot cuts to view her from behind, and the jacket is now completely on and her hair is tucked under the collar.
Revealing mistake: When Buffy is invisible and in the social office in "Gone", she is searching for the summer files, and you can see a thumb picking them up. (00:20:40)
Revealing mistake: When Buffy is at the desk of the social assistant you can see the white wire at the left of the keyboard. The white wire controls the fake keyboard: you can see the wire moving. (00:20:50)
Continuity mistake: In 'Gone', when invisible Buffy is typing on the social worker's keyboard the letter 'B' is pressed several times. When she prints what she's been typing seconds later it's revealed to be "All work and no play make Doris a dull girl", a phrase which contains no 'B's. (00:21:10)
Continuity mistake: In the kitchen scene Buffy takes the pizza out of the fridge and closes the door, but in the next shot the door is open and two shots later it's closed again.
Continuity mistake: After Doris from Social Services leaves Buffy's house and Spike leaves after her, he takes his lighter out of Buffy's pocket. But earlier in the episode when everyone was packing away all of Willow's magic stuff, Buffy finds Spike's lighter and puts it in one of the boxes.
Continuity mistake: As Buffy is being trained at the register, the receipt at the top of the register switches in every shot. (00:07:45)
Continuity mistake: Timothy is wearing disposable gloves as he is training Buffy at the grill, but in the shot when he puts the raw patties on the grill, he is barehanded. (00:16:15)
Continuity mistake: When Buffy is assigned to the grill, as Timothy explains the process he's wearing a short-sleeved orange/white stripe uniform. In the close-up, when he places the second patty on the grill, Timothy is wearing a 3/4 sleeve, dark blue shirt. (00:17:15)
Chosen answer: "So goes the nation" seems to have been used on many occasions, with various different US states in the "As .... goes" section. Most commonly it seems to be California that's considered to lead the way, but probably most other states have appeared in the lead role at some point or another. Other things have also been used - no less a person that Pope John Paul II said "As the family goes, so goes the nation...". The origin of the quote format is unclear - in US politics it goes back into the 19th century, when it was Maine that held the title spot, but, while no definitive origin is known, it seems highly likely that it goes back considerably further than that.
