Continuity mistake: When Vin Diesel sits at the dinner table to eat Chinese take out food, his sister asks him to pray before eating. Vin Diesel takes a gulp of the beer, which starts to foam up and spill. Next shot during prayer, there is no foam on the beer. (01:08:25)

Continuity mistake: When Dom slams his black Buick Grand National into the side of the Petroleum tanker to get the coupling to break, the entire side of the car is stoved in, and the rear axle is seriously bent as evidenced by the angle of the back wheel. All subsequent shots, however, show the wheel intact and the damage to the side as slight denting.

Continuity mistake: When Shuya finds Utsumi dead, the proximity of her head to the girl behind her changes between shots, as does the position of her tie and gun beside her.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Danny Witwer and Burgess are going over something that wasn't seen before, Danny's tie is loosely undone, but in the next shot it's perfectly done up. (01:54:50)

Trivia: On the "subway" train, the man holding the USA Today paper is Cameron Crowe, and the woman in the seat behind him on his left is Cameron Diaz. Because "Vanilla Sky" and "Minority Report" were so close in shooting, the two directors (Crowe and Spielberg) agreed to put themselves as cameos in each other's films. (00:46:10)

Continuity mistake: Anderton is driving Agatha aka the Pre Cog in his car after kidnapping her from the Temple. She is complaining that she is cold so he takes off his jacket and puts it on her shoulder and body. The next shot is from outside the window looking at her and the jacket is down on her arm. The next shot is back to Anderton and the jacket is on her shoulder again. In the final shot of the Precog, the jacket is on her shoulder. (01:24:20)

Continuity mistake: At the start of the movie, two wooden balls are created to name the next victim and killer. After the balls are created, they are dull and unpolished, but their travel through the tubes shows them to now be highly polished and shiny. (00:01:55)

Continuity mistake: On top of the collapsed building, when Bond has given up trying to revive Vesper, in a close-up shot, Vesper's head is resting below a piece of light wood inlaid into the much darker roof. Cut to a very far shot, just before Bond holds her, and her head is now right on this wood. (02:17:25)

Continuity mistake: When Bond is being tortured in the seatless wicker chair, in one shot when you look at the right side of Bond's face the blood is running in an unbroken line down his face. The next shot where you see his face the blood has been smudged, but in the next shot, where you see his right cheek, the blood is running unbroken again. This happens a few times in this scene. Continuity mistake: At the end where the building gets destroyed, in one of the shots on top of the destroyed building, Bond is looking at Vesper and her head is facing to the left. However in the very next shot and for a few more shots, her head is suddenly facing straight up at Bond. (02:17:25)

Continuity mistake: Just after Rafe pops himself in the nose with the champagne cork, there is a bit of blood running down his right cheek. It disappears when the camera cuts back to him. (00:18:25)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Danny is sliding the device to knock out the guards with uzis at the bottom of the elevator, the device slides on an angle to the line on the floor, but in the next shot it is sliding along the line. [On the DVD commentary, Soderbergh said that the filming crew had to slide the device many times, because it wouldn't slide far enough. There's the reason, but still a mistake.] (01:25:30)

Continuity mistake: During the first scene in M's flat the glass coffee table changes position. When we first see the coffee table it is square to the rug and fire place, however in the next shots it has been moved approximately 45 degrees to the right. (00:24:20)

Continuity mistake: During the Battle of Britain sequence, in the scene where Rafe gets shot down he can't open his canopy to bail out so he shoots holes in it with his pistol. In the wide shots of the plane the canopy is whole. (00:43:00)

Continuity mistake: When Helen and Jacob walk out from under the bridge, at the very end of the movie, we see footsteps being made in the metal "sand". When the camera pans to a shot from behind, the footsteps made in the sand are gone.

Continuity mistake: During the car chase in the beginning, we see that the driver's side mirror is gone, then back, then gone again. Later after exiting the scene, we see the taxi leaving with both side mirrors on it.

Continuity mistake: When Buckingham is about to be arrested, the camera is looking directly at him. At this angle, his black fur collar is flipped up, covering the neck of his white shirt. When the scene changes to a wide shot behind him, the collar is folded down. (00:35:00 - 00:35:50)
