Visible crew/equipment: When Ron and Sam are discussing college and girls, in the shot facing Mikaela, as she's airbrushing the design on the motorcycle, the reflection of a crewmember (wearing a blue shirt) holding a reflector screen is visible on the chrome surface at the left, and as the camera pans in closer to her its moving shadow is also visible. Continuity mistake: Lisbon is telling the CDC agent that the scientist's death is a homicide. The agent has an ear piece in his left ear in close-up shots. In all other shots, the piece isn't in his ear.

Continuity mistake: When Sam phones Mikaela after missing their webchat date he drops his books and papers, and one book falls upright on the top stair in front of him, which promptly vanishes and then reappears as the last book he picks up. All the books and papers keep changing in his arms between shots as well. (00:46:30)

Continuity mistake: At the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, when Mikaela, Sam and Simmons follow Wheelie they reach Jetfire's enclosure with the large information plaque attached to the metal front bar, as Wheelie faces them. Next shot, that whole front horizontal bar is gone along with the information plaque, and Wheelie now faces Jetfire. Then when the Cube shard attaches itself to Jetfire the metal horizontal bar reappears, though the large plaque is still gone, and that bar vanishes once again in the shot from under Jetfire. Continuity mistake: When Beckett goes to the bathroom to read Castle's book and Castle peers over the top of the cubical to tell her what page the sex scene is on, she is holding the book with her fingers between the pages dividing the book into 2 sections. These 2 sections switch to 3 and then back to 2 between shots.

Continuity mistake: After Kyle dies, Audrey jumps off the diner's roof and starts shooting at the possessed people. She runs out of bullets and gets into the blue van. One of the possessed scratches the top left corner of the windshield. These scratches disappear. (01:09:45)

Continuity mistake: When Sam enters his dorm room for the first time (carrying the box), the two large stickers (rectangular and round) are to the right of the two posters on the door, but in the following shots both of the stickers are to the left of the posters. (00:25:30)

Continuity mistake: When the Cube sliver burns through the floor and falls onto the kitchen table, in the overhead shot there is a red stool on the side of the table (bottom of screen) with the bowl of cereal, but as the appliances transform that stool is at the wall beside the doorway. It reappears beside the table a few shots later, as the transformed blender jumps on it. (00:12:30)

Continuity mistake: In the dirt bike racing scene, there's a long "slow-motion" shot that includes a large section of a very patchy-cloudy sky. In all other shots of the race, the sky is clear blue. (00:32:45)

Continuity mistake: 1.08 (Depraved Heart) Lightman is working late and his daughter drops by to bring him Thai food. As she's walking towards her father, her arms are crossed. Cut to the immediate shot from behind, and her arms are down at her sides.

Continuity mistake: This happens right at the very end at the hotel room in Mexico. Jane and Lisbon are sitting on the bed and the cellphone rings. It's Red John calling. There's a beer bottle next to the phone on a round table. At first the label faces towards the middle of the table. When Jane picks the phone up, the label now faces the other way. (00:43:20)

Continuity mistake: At the end of the Angels' last fight with Demi Moore, we get a closeup of Demi's mouth. It is bloody and her teeth are covered in red. A few seconds later, after she falls backward through the floor and begins to scream, there is no blood on her face and her teeth are pearly white. (01:35:10)

Continuity mistake: When Alice and Leo walk in on Sam in the symbol filled dorm room, on the wall at the head of Sam's bed are three small-to-medium sized framed photos of Sam and Mikaela hanging vertically. After Alice pushes Leo out of the room, the frames change. Now there are two large and medium frames hanging vertically and another medium frame hanging horizontally. (00:50:00)

Continuity mistake: When Bumblebee shows up at the frat party with the horn blaring, Sam looks outside and sees the car on the lawn flashing headlights with a clean front bumper, but when Sam questions Bumblebee, there are bush branches all over the bumper. (00:35:00)
