Trivia: Soon after Ben Richards begins the game, in the background, you can see a shop sign saying "Bachmans." Richard Bachman was the pseudonym Stephen King used as the author of the novel this movie is based on.

Freejack (1992)
Visible crew/equipment: When Alex steals the Bollinger pickup to get away, he shoves one of the red chase cars into the back of a futuristic black car, which then causes the red car to vault the black car into the air. As the camera shot changes from the rear of the black car to the front of it, you can see the tube ramp behind the black car to jump it into the air.

Airport '77 (1977)
Factual error: The function of the US Navy in this movie in being called to raise an intact aircraft is plausible. Their actual role is usually to do with raising submarines. That being said, what isn't plausible is for a 747 to be heavy enough to cause equipment such as strapping to snap and fail, when a submarine is so many magnitudes heavier. A fully laden 747 can be over 400 tonnes, a moderate Los Angeles class submarine is over 6000 tonnes.

Airport '77 (1977)
Factual error: Whilst the use of air-filled balloons is entirely credible when raising something like a 747, the air balloons would not lift the aircraft out of the water. The balloons would go as high as the ocean surface and no higher, meaning the access doors to escape the aircraft would still be submerged.

Airport '77 (1977)
Plot hole: The crash as presented in the movie is beyond preposterous. The tail fin striking the ocean surface would have torn it off. Even if we pretend the tail fin would be strong enough, the aircraft would catapult onto its nose and break up, meaning no survivors.

Airport '77 (1977)
Continuity mistake: When the Captain is rescued by the Navy Zodiac, there are two Navy guys, one with a T-shirt on, the other bare-chested. When they get back to their ship, both Navy guys now have T-shirts on.

Rambo (2008)
Visible crew/equipment: When the mercenaries are able to fight back after Rambo's intervention on the mounted .50 cal, the Merc with the bandana on his head climbs up some wooden steps to get a better firing position. Just as he takes up his firing position, you can see directly behind him a video camera with blue tape on it pointing over his shoulder, which is then reflected in the next shot over his shoulder.

Ready Player One (2018)
Revealing mistake: Just after Wade gets threatened and his home is about to be bombed, he leaves his van trying to call his friends. After this shot, the camera pans over a load of scrap cars. Whilst the movie is meant to be set in America, at least 3 UK registered cars are visible in amongst the scrap cars, still wearing their UK plates. These 3 rather unremarkable cars, a Ford Mondeo, Fiat Punto, and Ford Fiesta Courier van, are unlikely to have ended up in the US.
Suggested correction: Though unlikely, not impossible. This is a future scenario and it's not far fetched to think that some economic crisis prompted people to buy import cars and then never given US plates. Or they were imported for parts. Or some UK workers using their own car.
This is a ridiculous correction. Why would Americans seek out right-hand drive cars from the UK when Canada, Mexico, and South America all use left-hand drive and are significantly closer than the UK? It would have been at least plausible if the vehicles were in some way special, but none of the three vehicles are in any way special; they would cost more to transport than they are worth.

Rambo (2008)
Visible crew/equipment: When Rambo is attempting to lead the soldiers away on a fake trail, and just before he sets the claymore trap on the Tallboy bomb, there is a shot of Rambo running from the left side of the screen to the right, and just before the camera stops panning right, in the bottom right corner of the screen you can see crew equipment.

The Last of the Mohicans (1992)
Revealing mistake: Uncas dies and falls off the cliffside. Immediately after this happens, Hawkeye comes into view through a passage in the rocks. If you look at the rock to Hawkeye's left, when he touches it with his hand, it flexes.

The Karate Kid (1984)
Other mistake: When Daniel and his mother have to bump start the car, she shouts to Allie to pop the clutch. There is no tell tale sign of the car reacting to the clutch being dropped, and the sound of the engine starting is preceded by the sound of the starter motor turning as if the key was used.

Tomorrow Never Dies (1997)
Revealing mistake: After Bond's BMW runs across the spikes that deflate the tyres, there follows a side shot of one of the rear tyres re-inflating. If you look carefully, under the car near the wheel is the mechanism they used to raise the car to 're-inflate' the tyre.

American Sniper (2014)
Continuity mistake: When the two Humvees are leaving, they get intercepted by a green Renault 12 which they shoot up and ram. The Humvee after hitting the Renault then hits a wall and suffers damage. After the Humvees come to a halt some moments later, the wall damaged Humvee is now pristine again.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)
Other mistake: Just before Hermione gives Harry and Ron the two drugged cakes for Crabbe and Goyle in the food hall, snow is falling and to a fairly low level. In spite of this, and it being a continuous shot, as the camera lowers down, the snow ceases, but right at the end of the shot, the camera view raises up a significant amount where we should be able to see the falling snow again, but someone wanted to save pennies on the VFX budget, because the snow has gone.

Aliens (1986)
Continuity mistake: Hicks gives Ripley a wristwatch which is linked to his tracker. If you look at the watch, its face is mostly black with a tiny portion that is clear. However, when Newt has the watch and falls down the tunnel and is wandering around the pool of water before Hicks and Ripley find her, you can see that the watch face has no black - it has a full clear face and appears to be a standard digital watch of the 1980's era.
