Corrected entry: When the helicopters approach Riggs' trailer it's late night, but from inside it looks as if sunlight is falling through the window (the little lamp in front could not provide such brightness. (01:16:30)

The Hunted (2003)
Corrected entry: Hallam escapes into a huge construction site. The bulldozers and concrete trucks indicate that foundation work has just started. When Bonham climbs down a stepladder he gets into a movie-typical industrial basement with pipes and valves where the utilities are still connected, as we can tell from the burning lights and the stereotype steam leaks. (00:59:20)
Correction: Bonham climbs down into the excavated construction site, but most of the scene occurs in an adjacent utility area. The construction site was merely an entrance into the utility tunnels. The chase covers a lot of ground, and the construction foreman mentions that the tunnels extend for a long distance.

The Hunted (2003)
Corrected entry: Why does Hallam go down a horrifying, absolutely deadly waterfall only to climb back up again? (01:12:15)
Correction: We don't see Hallam go over the falls; we see him swimming in the river and climbing up the cliff. He may have swum upstream to throw off the pursuers. Bonham mentioned that Hallam was an extraordinary swimmer. The details are left open, and so cannot be regarded as a mistake.

Forrest Gump (1994)
Corrected entry: In the scene where Forrest "rescues" Jenny from the "assault" by the college student in the car, 1) Jenny gets out of the car too quickly considering her earlier, rather peculiar position, 2) when she gets through the right door she doesn't seem to open it - she just appears on the side of the car, 3) which would explain that the door doesn't get closed when the boy drives off in a huff. (00:29:15)
Correction: (1) Jenny wasn't in an awkward position; her date was; (2) huh?; (3) so what? older cars had heavy doors; it closed as he drove off.

M*A*S*H (1970)
Corrected entry: When Hawkeye and Duke arrive at MASH and drive by the mess there are four nurses, two sitting on each side of a longish table, together with someone else. When Hawkeye and Duke enter the mess the nurses are placed 3+1, and the other person is gone. (00:07:30)
Correction: I've watched this scene frame for frame, and at no time are the nurses seated two on each side.

Forrest Gump (1994)
Corrected entry: When little Forrest runs away from the bullies he loses the braces on his right leg twice. (00:16:05)
Correction: It's a slow-motion scene and it's purposely duplicated to get the desired effect that this is a monumental moment for Forrest.

Fierce Creatures (1997)
Corrected entry: When Rollo and Bugsy try to bug Rod's hotel room they get surprised by his premature arrival. They fail to make it through the connecting door to the adjacent room because it slams shut when Cub pushes the basket away that keeps it open. So, they all have to hide in the wardrobe. When the guests leave they slip out and Bugsy is the first who apparently makes it through the locked door, at least that's the only way he could have disappeared by the time Willa returns; the second one is Cub who sneaks through the same door while Willa is talking to Rollo. (00:53:45 - 00:59:45)
Correction: While they are in the wardrobe, the blonde animal keeper goes into the other room with the sheep. You can see her opening the connecting door, so it isn't locked anymore by the time they leave.

The Hours (2002)
Corrected entry: When Laura comes to pick up Richie from Mrs. Latch's we see him standing at the window, shouting "Mommy. Mommy.", with both hands touching the glass at the same level. When the old Richard remembers the scene a bit later into the movie, Richie has one hand high up and the other one down, while his voice sounds the same. (01:25:25)
Correction: One of the scenes is Laura's recollection, the other is Richard's. It's likely they will be slightly different.

Michael Collins (1996)
Corrected entry: The attack in the stadium happens in bright sunlight. When we see players and fans lying dead on the lawn there is no sun at all, but when the camera shows people running for cover the sun is back. (01:06:05)
Correction: It being Ireland the sun does go behind clouds very quickly and back out again so this is quite possible.

Chocolat (2000)
Corrected entry: The movie starts with a service, covering all the habits of the village people and stressing their conformity. Why then does the lady wake up her husband, who sits sleeping through a song while everyone else is standing, only when the song is over? (00:02:35)
Correction: Just because people are expected to conform, does not mean that they always do so. She is prodding him to wake him up before the mayor notices.

Life as a House (2001)
Corrected entry: When the dog pees agains Mr. Dokos' car there is no pee visible, therefore there is no reason for such a lot of water running from the grill after the dog runs away. (00:04:10)
Correction: We see the dog exactly after he has finished peeing while he is running away. They just didn't actually show him peeing, but he did.

Erin Brockovich (2000)
Corrected entry: Before Erin gets her $2m cheque she takes an address from someone on the phone. We hear the pen scratching over the paper, but when the camera angle changes she has no pen in her hand. (01:58:35)
Correction: There is actually no pen scratching. Erin is not writing the information down; she's memorizing it just like she did all along. Remember when Kurt Potter's assistant Theresa tells Erin that she doesn't have phone numbers/addresses for some of her plaintiffs? Erin rattles them off from memory.

Maverick (1994)
Corrected entry: When Maverick and his last opponent in the qualifying round of the great game shake hands you hear applause although nobody in the room is moving his hands. (01:29:40)
Correction: The ballroom in which the poker tournament takes place is pretty big and the camera just covers a portion of this room. The applauding people could be behind the camera or right next to it.

Gone with the Wind (1939)
Corrected entry: After the casualties lists have been issued a band is playing a march. The camera focuses on two flute players who do some repetetive moves with their fingers which have nothing to do with the tune. (00:47:45)
Correction: The reason the camera focuses on the two flute players is because they are presumably related to the band leader who has just been informed of a family member's death in battle (hence the tears) Their distress meant that they were unable to keep up with the rest of the band but moved their fingers to look as if they were playing.

Michael Collins (1996)
Corrected entry: At the beginning of the first cabinet meeting after DeValera's return from America Aidan Quinn has difficulties suppressing a giggle and needs to cover his face, which is rather inappropriate considering the seriousness of the occasion. (01:09:15)
Correction: Aidan is giggling over the fact that Michael Collins calls himself "a yob from West Cork" who is no good at talking and does not want to go to England to negotiate a treaty, feeling DeValera should. A serious scene, yes, but a comedic moment (for Harry) within.

Good bye, Lenin! (2003)
Corrected entry: After the father had gone to the west he had been writing to his family for three years but never got a response because the mother intercepted all the letters. It remains a mystery how she had been able to do that since he had been writing to their home address - the mother has a full-time job and comes home in the evening. The kids come home after school. Of course they would check the letterbox, at least from time to time. Given the load of letters the father had written the odds are too high they would have come across one of them.
Correction: Pretty simple, actually - she could have been the only one with a key to the mailbox.

The Mirror Has Two Faces (1996)
Corrected entry: On their wedding night Rose goes to the bathroom first. The gown and bathrobe she takes with her are different from what she is wearing when she comes out again. (01:01:05)
Correction: Rose is actually taking her white wedding outfit from the earlier ceremony into the bathroom (not her nightwear) - she hangs it in the bathroom closet after entering the bathroom. This is obvious as her little white wedding handbag is attached to the coat hanger (so it's obviously daywear as we don't take little handbags to bed!).

Good bye, Lenin! (2003)
Corrected entry: Alex's sister gets a coke bottle from the fridge and drops it when she tries to open it. She obviously drops it deliberately. (01:11:10)
Correction: She drops it deliberately because her nose was bleeding.

The Ring (2002)
Corrected entry: When Rachel and Aidan drive home from school they keep looking at each other through the rear mirror. It's not possible from his position, crouched into the far right of the back seat, to see her face, as she neither adjusts the mirror nor her position, and, if at all, he would only see her eyes not her whole face (as beautiful as it admittedly is). (00:10:00)
Correction: Rearview mirrors are slightly convex, allowing the driver to see more behind them. With my car it is possible to see the entire backseat from left to right when it is adjusted to view through the rear window. From the back right corner of the seat, it is possible to see the driver's face, but not quite all of it.

Lethal Weapon 2 (1989)
Corrected entry: Before Riggs tears down the embassy he and Murtaugh are seen outside discussing the course of action. Around them there's thick fog that disappears completely between shots. (01:28:35)
Correction: Not fog. As the vehicles arrive, Riggs' truck slides sideways a bit, kicking up dust that slowly disapates during the scene.

Correction: My local Police Force bases it's helicopter at my local RAF base, and I've stood next to it. The lamp mounted under it is only some 12-16 inches in diameter, but produces something like a million candlepower or more.
