Corrected entry: When the dog pees agains Mr. Dokos' car there is no pee visible, therefore there is no reason for such a lot of water running from the grill after the dog runs away. (00:04:10)

Correction: We see the dog exactly after he has finished peeing while he is running away. They just didn't actually show him peeing, but he did.

Corrected entry: George and Sam jump off the cliff near their house, but when Sam and George look at the house from the hospital room there are rocks below the cliff and they shouldn't have been able to jump down there without getting hurt. (01:48:00)

Correction: The point of the jump being scary was that they could have gotten seriously hurt. Also, the angle from the hospital room shows a slightly different area than the jump spot.

Corrected entry: When Alyssa interupts Sam's first shower at her house, you can hear the water running but there is no water coming from the shower head which is clearly visible through the open door.

Correction: There is a main shower head and then there is a removable shower head below the main shower head, like a shower massage, and you can see the water coming from the lower shower head.

Factual error: In the beginning of the film with Coleen after George gets up, also in several other "morning" shots, the sun is always shown near the horizon or reflecting off the ocean. On the west coast this would make this the evening.

Trivia: When Hayden Christensen was filming the scene in which Sam finds out that George is dying, he improvised punching the wall with his fist. In doing so, he broke his hand. When shooting resumed, the wall was replaced with a prop wall so Hayden wouldn't hurt himself again.
