The Bodyguard (1992)

Corrected entry: Rachel's and Sy's idea to perform at the Mayan took Frank by surprise. Later, when the situation escalates, he makes his escape though a secret side door (not the "official" back exit where he sends Tony), where earlier he had directed the driver with the limo. As he hadn't even heard of the club before and as he had no chance to check it out while they were there it's not quite clear how he acquired this detailed knowledge of the location. (00:38:25)

NancyFelix

Correction: He would have talked to the manager of the club and learnt about all the different exits, as it is his job to know all the different exits and make plans for an escape so he can put them into action, if needed.

The Bodyguard (1992)

Corrected entry: It doesn't make any sense that Portman places a bomb in the boat as his only target Rachel was the least likely to take a round on the wintry lake.

NancyFelix

Correction: I actually believe the bomb was intended to kill Frank so that Rachel would be an easier target. There is a scene of Frank teaching Fletcher how to use the boat. Portman probably assumed that Frank would take Fletcher out on a ride.

This is exactly what I felt, too. I don't think the goal was to specifically kill Fletcher. He would've been an incidental casualty.

Correction: He put the bomb in the boat to hurt Fletcher, as this would hurt Rachel.

The Bodyguard (1992)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Rachel stops her jogging and asks Frank for a date she has her natural skin color. In the last shot of the scene, when she leaves, her face has the almost Michael Jacksonian off-white make-up which is more typical for the rest of the movie. (00:44:30)

NancyFelix

Correction: That's because she was running, when you run your cheeks flush.

Gangs of New York (2002)

Corrected entry: Before Jenny and Amsterdam make love she reveals a scar that, according to her, was the result of a baby taken out. The position of the scar would have been good for removing the left lung, but a bit far away from the uterus. (01:05:05)

NancyFelix

Correction: A scar placed correctly for the "removal of her left lung" would transect Jenny's breast or her sternum, and this does neither. It is in the centre of her abdomen, showing the results of a sloppily performed hysterectomy.

The Color Purple (1985)

Corrected entry: Sofia leaves Harpo together with her children. Years later, when she gets slapped by the mayor, two of them are with her, and they haven't aged since. (00:43:45)

NancyFelix

Correction: Harpo and Sophia have more than two children. The last child to be removed from Harpo's lap when Sophia leaves is infant/toddler age and placed in the truck. The names of the children (more than two) are mentioned by Celie when she bids them farewell. The two children in the scene with the mayor years later are most likely the two youngest, including the one that was the infant/toddler years before.

Corrected entry: Near the end we see some leaves being blown along by a strong wind at Michael's estate. However, the trees in the background don't move at all. (01:00:55)

NancyFelix

Correction: It looks like a sudden gust of wind blowing by the ground. Also, note that not all leaves are being blown along.

Corrected entry: When the royal family plus entourage comes through the town to meet the French king, in bird's-eye views Henry is marching alone in front, but in close-ups someone else is at his side. (00:20:40)

NancyFelix

Correction: I thought so too at first, but Henry always has Eleanor at his side. They are only shown in close-ups. The bird's-eye view is showing Phillip of France, who is walking alone.

The War (1994)

Corrected entry: In the cave accident a massive rock falls on Stephen's chest that would have instantly killed anybody else. (01:15:20)

NancyFelix

Correction: Lydia says the doctor told them it should have killed him, but it didn't.

Signs (2002)

Corrected entry: When Merrill takes the bat from the wall Graham is standing not far from him. When the camera angle changes Graham has disappeared from the set. (01:32:35)

NancyFelix

Correction: Graham is not standing far from him, but he's also not standing directly beside him. Graham had just rolled the television into the room, so he stands in front of that, near the edge of the doorway into the living room. The television (and therefore Graham) is simply out of the reverse angle.

Signs (2002)

Corrected entry: When Graham and Merrill board up the bedroom door there are some shots through the (closed) door. There is light on their faces coming from the left, where is only a wall and no light, as in all shots from behind. (01:11:15)

NancyFelix

Correction: It is untrue that there is only a wall in that direction. There is a curio cabinet there. The light could be reflecting off the large pane of glass onto their faces.

Signs (2002)

Corrected entry: When Graham comes back home from Ray's house Merrill and the kids are sitting on the sofa. Morgan's book on aliens is lying on the coffee table on top of another, bigger book, first diagonal, then, when the camera angle changes, straight. (01:00:05)

NancyFelix

Correction: In between the two shots is a lingering shot of Graham asking what the book says abot the aliens' intentions. Plenty of time for Morgan to have reached for the book, especially given that Graham is asking about it.

JC Fernandez

Corrected entry: Prissy comes to Belle Watling's place to ask Rhett for help. They talk while he is looking out of the 2nd-floor window and she is standing in the street. When the camera points down to her from Rhett's perspective she is standing next to a streetlight that wasn't there when she came to the house. (01:16:15)

NancyFelix

Correction: Actually, the light is still visible in this scene at the top left-hand side of the screen. What changed was the closeness of the camera shot on Prissy. At first a wider shot was used making the entire light visible, then it switches to a closer shot leaving only a portion of the light visible. Finally it switches back to the original shot again; making it appear to be a discrepancy.

Witness (1985)

Corrected entry: Near the end of the movie McFee shoots a hole in the silo door which is quite oddly shaped. When the camera is on Schaeffer, calling McFee, you hear another shot. Then you see the silo door again with corn pouring out through a nicely cut, straight hole where the gunshot was, plus two more "dents" where this powerful weapon now couldn't even make holes. (01:36:00)

NancyFelix

Correction: When McFee shoots at the silo door for the first time, he makes two holes - one in the middle and one smaller in the low right corner of the door (there is quite much smoke and dust in the scene but you can still see it). Then he hits the upper hole with the butt of the gun and succeeds in cracking a piece of wood, this is how the rectangular opening is made. Then a third shot offscreen produces the third hole, and there you are with the straight hole and two more ones not sufficiently wide to let the corn pour out.

Orsi

Corrected entry: When Jack goes down the waterfall he lets go of the bag with the stone. Then, when he gets out of the rather wild water he is holding on to the bag again. (01:19:40)

NancyFelix

Correction: There was more than enough time for the bag to be floating nearby and for him to grab it in between shots.

The Hours (2002)

Corrected entry: After the flower shop scene with Clarissa we see Virginia writing. Although for the better part of the movie the make-up artists have done a fairly good job on Nicole Kidman's nose enlargement, the waxy whiteness of her nose makes it strangely obvious in this scene. (00:16:25)

NancyFelix

Correction: It's not the nosejob that's obvious; it's just stark sunlit lighting that makes her look that way. No one would look good in that lighting; the nose just appears white because of the lighting. You are only focusing on the nose because it's known to be fake.

Seabiscuit (2003)

Corrected entry: In Red's first race after his accident (the last race in the movie) Seabiscuit is trailing behind for some time. When the camera shows him from the front he gallops across virgin turf in spite of all the other horses in front. (02:04:10)

NancyFelix

Correction: Seabiscuit didn't run on turf, it was a dirt surfaced track. And he was running to the outside, where the other horses hadn't run.

Corrected entry: After the five suspects get released in New York you see a hand-written poster for a lost dog next to McManus and Fenster. The very same poster is stuck to the tree Kint walks by after being released in Los Angeles. (00:26:15 - 01:36:55)

NancyFelix

Correction: Kint's telling the story, and in the end you see that he is using notes and posters on the wall for details in the story he is telling. And since we are seeing what he is saying it's more likely that he saw the poster before he went into the police station, hence why it is shown in New York.

The Hours (2002)

Corrected entry: When Laura leaves Richie at Mrs. Latch's place he is carrying a red suitcase in his hands. Richie and Mrs. Latch look from the doorsteps how Laura drives off, and the suitcase isn't there anymore. This is seen best when he starts running after the car. (00:59:50)

NancyFelix

Correction: Mrs. Latch opens the door, just as Laura begins walking away, and puts the box inside. Watch behind Laura while she's walking - Mrs. Latch moves toward the open door, attempting to lead Richie inside.

Brenda Elzin

Correction: It's not bloody, it's just very red. Just jumped and nearly caught on the planks with his hands. That impact is enough to turn his hands red.

Knever

Corrected entry: When Charlie and Irene start their train ride the locomotive is not the same as when they reach their last stop. (01:32:30)

NancyFelix

Correction: There's nothing to suggest that they were on the same exact train the entire time.
