Continuity mistake: On his way to Sun City Mr. Bones relieves an elephant from his constipation by extracting some blockage through the rectum. This results in a huge elephant pat flying with great momentum horizontally in the direction of a bystanding lady's backhead. Then the lady is shown from behind, running away, and the pat, which made a rather sticky impression when it hit her, is gone. (00:16:55)

Continuity mistake: Before Mr. Bones leaves Kuvukiland to look for the king's son he is chatting with his baboon. Then he puts it down, talks to someone, and in the next shot he puts it down again. (00:10:40)

Continuity mistake: When the plane with the baby Mr. Bones crashes, a lion gets startled by the noise. In the next shot the lion is taking an interest in the baby, but it is very obviously a different lion. (00:03:20)

Continuity mistake: After the beetle scene a boy plays the Kuvuki version of golf, i.e. hitting stones with a club-like branch and aiming for an antelope's butt. In close up you can see that three different clubs were used for this sequence. (00:02:05)

Continuity mistake: At the very beginning a beetle rolls a dirt ball over the ground, and the king of Kuvukiland picks up the ball to roll a cigarette with it. The beetle in close-up is shown on open soil, but the king is placed on some kind of blanket when he picks it up. (00:01:15)

Continuity mistake: When Aurora sees Breedlove off at the airport the cars you see reflected in the window change from shot to shot. (01:43:35)

Continuity mistake: When the drunken Breedlove tries to get out of the car he falls forward on the right side on his face. Therefore, he shouldn't have a bloody injury on his left cheek and a black stain on the back of his jacket. (00:19:50)

Continuity mistake: When Aurora and Emma are drinking tea on Aurora's bed Emma takes a sip. From the way she tilts the cup there should still be a reasonable amount of tea in the cup, but in the next shot she laughs and shakes the cup so hard that whatever was left in the cup would have splashed out. Continuity mistake: When Breedlove has Aurora over for dinner his wine glass is almost empty when it is shown first. In the next shot it is half full, without having been refilled. (01:12:25)

Continuity mistake: When Emma and Patsy talk about her illness you see the NY skyline in the background. First the WTC is fully visible, but from one shot to the next it is half hidden in a huge cloud. (01:37:40)
