Hogan's Heroes (1965)

Klink's Masterpiece - S6-E3

Factual error: As the staff car comes up the street, there are a number of neon signs lit up, as well as store fronts. This is wrong as during the night in wartime Europe, such lighting would be dark to avoid night bombing.

Army of Darkness (1992)

Factual error: After coming out of the pit, Ash gets three shots out of a double barrel shotgun. There was a sound of cocking when the shotgun has to be cracked open to re-load.

5 O'Clock Charlie - S2-E2

Factual error: General Clayton is wearing ribbons on his regular fatigues. This is incorrect as the ribbons would only be displayed on the dress uniforms. Only the officer's rank would be on the fatigues.

Hogan's Heroes (1965)

Show generally

Factual error: Numerous times throughout the series, there are palm trees seen in different shots. Stalag 13 was supposed to be just on the outskirts of Hammelburg. The only place anywhere near there that could support palms was the area around the Bodensee (Lake Constance), so therefore the palms seen are a big mistake.

Ironside (1967)

Force of Arms - S1-E16

Factual error: The chopper's main rotors are at a speed enough to cause rotor wash, but the men's coats or hair don't move at all, when they should have been buffeted around.

Movie Nut

Factual error: The truck that turns over and blows up after Indy shoots the driver is a Mercedes Benz L701. It began production in 1944, and this movie is set in 1936, so the truck is not period correct. Also, the alleys are too narrow to allow this truck to turn a corner.

Movie Nut

Factual error: If the Vorgon Destructor Ship was as massive as portrayed, then as Ford and Arthur look up at it, it should have been reflected in Ford's shades. Instead, all that is seen is the demolition equipment and open sky.

Family Guy (1999)

420 - S7-E12

Factual error: In the park, Stewie and Brian are playing the "water pipes" like a xylophone. Trouble is, in order to get the tones they were playing, the glasses should have had different levels of water in them. If you look closely, all the glasses have the same level of water.

Miri - S1-E9

Factual error: If this planet is a duplicate, an exact copy, of Earth, then Lake Okeechobee, the largest lake in Florida, is wrong. Seen from space, it is much larger and more distinct than the lake shown on this duplicate.

Movie Nut

Cause and Effect - S5-E18

Factual error: When the starboard nacelle causes the ship to spin, the view of the stars on the main screen on the bridge should move toward the right side of the screen, rather than standing still.

Hogan's Heroes (1965)

Show generally

Factual error: While the barracks were reasonable replicas of the real POW barracks, there was one main difference. The original buildings were elevated to ensure any escape attempts could be stopped. In this series, the barracks are flush on the ground, which makes the tunnel access possible and easy.

Suggested correction: There are a plethora of actual photos freely available online of WWII German POW barracks, built either flush to the ground or on concrete slabs. This is just wrong.

Batman (1966)

The Joker's Provokers (2) - S2-E22

Factual error: During the fight to regain his box, the Joker picks up an orange colored deep well drill bit to hit Batman. First, such a device has sufficient weight that one regular man couldn't lift it easily, let alone swing it. Second, the drill bit wouldn't be lying around in the water works guard office.

Movie Nut

Topsy-Turvy - S3-E10

Factual error: When looking at the machetes the headhunters had, you can see the molded plastic handles on them. The natives wouldn't have access to such things.

Movie Nut

Factual error: The TV remotes of the day wouldn't control more than one TV at a time, yet they all come on and go off at the same rime.
