Deliberate mistake: The shot of the plane landing in Syldavia at the start of the episode, after the recap of part one, is merely the exact same shot of the plane landing in Syldavia at the start of the previous episode. Note the vehicles on the ground are completely identical and the plane, as well as its movements are also identical.(00:25:00)
Deliberate mistake: When the two security guards inside Firebrand alert the other security about David being on the roof, a news reporter overhears, announces it and everyone looks up. The news channel then shows an above angle shot of David standing on the ledge within a second, but how did the news channel manage to start filming David standing on the roof that quickly or even manage to film from this angle? David going up onto the roof was entirely unplanned and within a few seconds of anyone realizing he was on the roof, there is suddenly a news helicopter from above filming the entire thing. It could not have been filmed from the ground because the news is filming an above angle shot and would have been too far away to film. This was probably done intentionally to increase the drama, but still makes little sense.(01:16:50)
Deliberate mistake: After David jumps off the roof of the Firebrand building, it is discovered that he had been wearing a parachute, but this parachute was never visible on him at any point previously in the scene. Even when he was on the roof and after jumping, the parachute was nowhere to be seen. The parachute was too big to have gone unnoticed. It would have been visible whenever the shot was behind him and the straps would have been seen whenever the camera was in front of him.(01:17:30)
Deliberate mistake: Haddock draws an X on the shark image of Calculus' box with a pencil. This was done as a visual gag, though the X mark is far too thick for the pencil that Haddock was using.(00:07:00)
Deliberate mistake: Invasion of the Yokel Snatchers: When Kang is arguing with Kodos about not picking up his space rake, there is nothing on the floor around them. Kang walks forward a few feet and suddenly a rake suddenly appears on the floor.
Deliberate mistake: Five Characters In Search Of An Author: Various times throughout this level, Matt Groening draws on some paper and some cartoons come to life. Whenever this happens, he only draws on one piece of paper, yet several pieces of are shown with cartoons on them.
Deliberate mistake: There are no lights ever to be found in the underground world and the ceiling is literally the surface's ground, but there is still a perfect level of lighting regardless.
Deliberate mistake: Enter The Cheatrix: Any time in this level that shows one player jump into a pipe, the next scene shows two players exiting the pipe at the same time.
Deliberate mistake: In Monsters, Inc., when Mike and Sulley walked through Monstropolis to go to the company, Mike said to Sulley "You've been jealous of my good looks since the fourth grade". In this film, we're told Mike and Sulley met in college. [In the commentary, director Dan Scanlon explained that there was a lengthy scene that would have followed Mike and Sully throughout their years in elementary school, but it would have slowed the pace of the film and would have reduced the impact of their rivalry. Rather than spend a lot of time on a back story, Scanlon decided to have Mike and Sully meet in college, even though this was inaccurate.]
Deliberate mistake: The same outside shot of the Big Nugget Riverboat Casino is used over and over just zoomed in or zoomed out. Notice how the exact same cars are in the exact same place each time.(00:08:05 - 00:10:25)
Deliberate mistake: The kid who falls into Niagara Falls spends 28 seconds falling before Superman catches him. Niagara Falls is 51 meters in total height. Considering how fast something falls, the kid should have hit the water long before Superman ever entered the scene.(00:39:30 - 00:40:00)
Deliberate mistake: In this episode, it is revealed Donna and Robert got together because Robert saved her from a water fountain. In "Another Bad Thanksgiving", it was shown Donna's sister introduced Robert to Donna.(00:02:20)
Deliberate mistake: The time machine reverting causes everything in life to go backwards. However, although the characters' actions are reversed, their dialogue is always spoken forwards and not backwards.(00:08:00)
Deliberate mistake: Captain Haddock finds out the SOS was a fake so he tells the engine room to increase speed. Just after they increase speed and Tintin says "The people financing the Peary", we can tell the boat isn't moving since the background is entirely still and not moving an inch.(00:14:45)
Deliberate mistake: After Francis Haddock kills Red Rackham, he lights a fuse to the explosives. The fuse that was lit is only a foot long, yet he is somehow able to climb out the ship without anyone noticing, get into a boat and swim all the way to land before it explodes. At a foot long it would have exploded in 10 - 15 seconds, all of that would taken at least 10 minutes.(00:18:45)
Deliberate mistake: When the computer has been launched, Lister walks into the drive room and notices the computer and stands behind Kryten and Rimmer. But when the camera is focused on the computer, there is no sign of Lister what so ever.(00:10:00)
