Home Away From Homer - S16-E20

Continuity mistake: When Homer rings the doorbell of the Flanders' former house to visit the new neighbour, it moves downwards on the door frame. In the first shot it lines up with the gap between the lock and the doorknob, but in the next shot it is beside the doorknob, and in other shots in the episode the doorbell isn't even there. Also, the glass panels on both sidelights line up with the door differently between shots.

Homer vs. Patty and Selma - S6-E17

Continuity mistake: When Homer is walking upstairs after kicking Patty and Selma out for the second time, the wall that Homer was approaching is a darker colour than it usually is, and Homer walked up the stairs slowly. But a second later he closed a door, indicating that he went into a room. Are we really to believe that he could go very quickly from the stairs to a room in a matter of seconds?

Bart Gets An F - S2-E1

Continuity mistake: When there is a zoom in of the house just before Bart gets up late, it has the old arch-shaped windows, but in the rest of the episode it has the normal windows. It's obviously a screen from Season 1. (00:06:00)

The Front - S4-E19

Continuity mistake: At one point you see a rear view of Marge's head when Homer is talking to her. For some reason her skin is a darker shade than it usually is. It can't be a shadow on Marge because her clothes don't look any darker.

The Front - S4-E19

Continuity mistake: When Homer tells Bart that he didn't graduate in high school, you see a small window in the back door with a light blue sky seen through it, indicating that it is day time. However when Grandpa comes to the door, it is night time.

Tree House of Horror X - S11-E4

Continuity mistake: In "I Know What You Diddly-Iddly Did", just after Ned has been run over, he turns from a werewolf into his normal self. If you look carefully, his left ear turns brown for a second before turning yellow again.

Pygmoelian - S11-E16

Continuity mistake: When Moe is going to get a plastic surgery, the surgeon draws some marks on his face. You see Moe from a side view, and the marks on his face aren't visible from that angle. However, the marks on his face suddenly appear and you can now see them from that angle.

Homer Goes to College - S5-E3

Continuity mistake: Just after Homer has used the proton accelerator, Dean talks to him. In this scene he is writing something on a piece of paper, but he writes on the same line every time. He finishes writing on that line, then starts on it again.

Tree House of Horror X - S11-E4

Continuity mistake: In "I Know What You Diddly-Iddly Did", there are a few errors: Homer says, "Guess I forgot to put the fog lights in" at a slightly higher pitch to when we heard him say it earlier (When the event actually happened). When Marge actually ran over Ned she did not carry on driving. The flashback shows that Ned was run over without glasses. However in the actual event he had glasses on.

Mr. Plow - S4-E9

Continuity mistake: When Homer is putting posters on the cars, the car which we see him putting a poster on has no windscreen wipers in the first shot, but they suddenly appear in the next. In other shots the windscreen wipers are gone. (00:06:50)
