Trivia: The Apollo 13 mission has a lot to do with the number 13. It's called Apollo 13, it took off at 02:13 Houston time from complex 39A (which is 3 x 13), the launch date was 11 April 1970 (4+1+1+7+0 = 13), and the problem occurred 2 days later, on April 13.

Mr. Bean (1989)
Question: Can anybody explain why Mr Bean, in the first episode, has a red mini when in every other episode he has his normal green one?
Answer: Yeah he had a red Mini at the beginning but it ends up getting crashed at the end of the episode. And then in other episodes he has a green Mini.
Answer: So you didn't see the end of the first episode when he crashed the old Mini and the wheel fell off? Plausible that he bought a new one afterwards.
Answer: I think it is because in the last episode his green car got smashed in the ceremony and he bought a red mini until he got a new green mini.

Hair By Mr. Bean of London - S1-E19
Factual error: In the sketch with the train station, when the person in the booth isn't there you can see a map of the British Isles. A piece of land is shown in the English Channel that doesn't exist.

Mr. Bean (1989)
The Library - S1-E3
Revealing mistake: Just before Mr Bean rips a page out of his book, there is already a tear in it just before he actually tears it, which is not visible in any of the preceding shots.

It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Marge - S11-E21
Factual error: When Homer changes Marge's oil, when he lies on the skateboard, there are no trucks (axle mounts on a skateboard) on it as there should be.

The Simpsons (1989)
It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Marge - S11-E21
Continuity mistake: When Homer is changing the oil in Marge's car, he is in his own driveway, but in the next, he is perpendicular to Flanders' house and then in Flanders' driveway.
Suggested correction: He is in his own driveway the whole time. There's never a shot of him in a different position and certainly never in Flanders' house. You ever see the brick wall from the Simpsons' house in the last shot.

Mr. Bean (1989)
The Library - S1-E3
Revealing mistake: When Mr Bean's book falls apart, he tries putting the book back together, and he holds one page up to the camera and it has a slight reflection as if it is glossy paper. As far as I know old books like the one Mr Bean had don't have pages like that. It's an obviously fake book.

Flubber (1997)
Factual error: When Robin Williams rides the car above the clouds, he is fine. At a level like that it can be hard to breathe as temperatures are often quite low when above the clouds, mainly below freezing point.

Factual error: As Bart, Homer, Ned and Todd drift away from land in their boat, we see the clouds moving away. The clouds would not move that fast at the speed that the boat was going.

Little Britain (2003)
Revealing mistake: Just before Andy pushes Francesca down the stairs in her wheelchair, we see Lou walking down the steps, and they are quite steep. However, when Francesca goes down the stairs in her wheelchair she doesn't have much of a bumpy ride, despite the steps. A ramp was put there - you may need to look very carefully and you see it pop up slightly from the steps. [A reasonable way to prevent injury but it is still a mistake.]

Little Britain (2003)
Continuity mistake: In the first Andy and Lou sketch, when Andy sees the intro to 'The Price Is Right', there is a cup in front of him. However in the next shot Lou brings one over and it is the same one in the same position as in the first shot. Obviously the second shot was filmed first.

Little Britain (2003)
Continuity mistake: In the sketch with Kenny Craig, just after his mother brings in the sugar, the pot of sugar is quite close to the cups of tea. However in the next shot when Kenny hypnotises her and makes her not watch Songs of Praise, the sugar pot is now further away from the cups of tea.

Chosen answer: I'm guessing it is because he bought a new car. At the end of the first Bean, he crashed the mini. You hear the crash and see his wheel bouncing down the road. Safe to assume it was a write-off.
