Cape Feare - S5-E2

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the episode when we see MacBain on TV he goes through a curtain, the curtain stays open for a second even though he isn't touching it.

Suggested correction: Curtains on stages in places like theatres often have the curtains open by a pull rope operated by a stagehand. There is no evidence that Macbaine actually opens the curtain himself, so it could have been held open by a stagehand, as mentioned.

Skinner's Sense of Snow - S12-E8

Continuity mistake: When the children are sleeping in the canteen at school, Bart is resting his head on a red sweater. In the close up of him and Lisa, the sweater has now turned dark green. It's not because of the dark that we see it like that because there is a bit of light at the beginning of the next shot and we see the jumper to be dark green.

Suggested correction: The banister is always present. However, Homer's body occasionally blocks the view of the bannister giving the impression that it is absent.

Son of the Mask (2005)

Continuity mistake: When Otis (the dog) is in the trap, in the shot before he falls in the piano, Tim is standing in the room, but when the piano closes, he is not there. He suddenly appears in the next shot, so he couldn't have run out of the room and come back in.
