Corrected entry: Jason has kept Whitney hostage for six whole weeks, yet her condition, appearance and physical strengths seem to be unrealistic for the given scenario.

Hamster

Correction: Jason very obviously fed her as well as himself. Whitney wasn't kept in a mud pit, but on a bed. I do not see how her state in the movie is contradictory to the plot.

Shrek 2 (2004)

Corrected entry: The spoon Shrek uses to eat the 'soup' appears from nowhere between shots. It wasn't there previously when Shrek looks at the dinner set, and why would anyone bring it out if they don't need spoons until the actual soup is brought out? (00:15:25)

Hamster

Correction: There IS a spoon-like utentil attached to the bottom end of a fork, on the left side of his plate, in the initial setting. Obviously, it's not intended for the soup, but Shrek doesn't know this. The soup spoons are provided with the soup course.

Creepshow 2 (1987)

Correction: It was a shotgun blast so there would be multiple holes from the buck shot.

William Bergquist

Corrected entry: When Kate walks over to the silver frame and says "It's Jerry's diagram," all the numbers which were previously written, appear on the frame. However the "9", which should be on the bottom of the frame behind her, is missing. (01:17:35)

Hamster

Correction: We know that there are alternate dimensions in the Hypercube, so that particular diagram could very well have been made by a different Jerry than the one that the movie follows.

Corrected entry: During the explosion at the end, in a high aerial shot you can hear a member of the crew whisper "shit!" behind the camera. (01:22:35)

Hamster

Correction: Actually, it's Burt who says that, not a crew member.

Corrected entry: Loco finds Fox swinging on the rope hanging from the top of the barn. He tells her to get down. In the next shot, we see the rope still swinging, but Fox has vanished. If you look in the bottom right of the barn, you can see the leg of a crewmember moving. (00:38:45)

Hamster

Correction: A plausible guess by viewers would be that it is just Jason carrying Fox away to kill her, and not a crew member.

Friday the 13th (2009)

Corrected entry: Producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form were keen to show the actual definitive origin of Jason Voorhees' hockey mask which was always a slight mystery in the original series. Quoting from an interview; "Yes, you definitely see where the hockey mask comes from and why he puts it on and all that. It's like Part II to Part III for us - Part II is the sack and Part III is the mask - and we took them both. It is a story point and hopefully we've shot it properly in a way that when he takes off the sack and puts on the mask, he is now the Jason that everyone knows and loves."

Hamster

Correction: What mystery? In the third film of the original series, a guy scared a girl wearing a hockey mask. Then he wandered into a barn where Jason was hiding, still carrying the mask. Jason then killed the guy and took the mask, and the rest is history.

Corrected entry: When Gaston is trying to get to Belle through the bustling market, as the camera pans into the market and we hear the lines "Good Day" "Bonjour" "You call this bacon" "What lovely grapes", to the left of the screen you can see two signs hanging up. The first reads "La Puissance" and is for a fish stall. The correct term would probably be "Le Poisson." Secondly there is a pig shaped sign which reads "Le Jamon" - this should be "Le Jambon", which means "ham". (00:06:50)

Hamster

Correction: Other town signs are spelled incorrectly as well. As already pointed out in the corrections section for those, Belle seems to be one of the only literate people in town. The townsfolk are not sufficiently literate, therefore the signs are spelled incorrectly. Characters' flaws but not a movie mistake.

Return to Oz (1985)

Corrected entry: When Dorothy is stepping on the stones over the deadly desert, between the cut of the overhead shot to the close-up of her feet, the stones surrounding her change, and more appear, some vanish etc. (00:24:05)

Hamster

Correction: The Gnome King's minions are rock-creatures and can use stones and rocky surfaces any way they like. When Dorothy is stepping on top of the stones, you see eyes fluttering up, proving these stones are being used by the King's minions. So they could conceivably sink and/or pop out of the sands at will.

Batman Returns (1992)

Correction: It is the same shot, but viewed at different angles, which is a common filmmaking technique to heighten the suspense.

Correction: First of all, Gibb finds her boyfriend dead in the bed, not Lori. Second, I have just watched this scene several times and his eyes do not move at all.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: When Charlie takes Bella up to her bedroom at the beginning of the movie, you can see a thick black microphone wire running from Bella's jeans up her shirt. They are not her iPod wires, as we see on other occasions she has the regular white iPod earphones.

Hamster

Correction: I watched this through and couldn't see any wire - can you clarify what shot the wire's visible in?

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: When Edward is running up the mountain at full speed with Bella on his back, Bella's hair falls flat on her back yet would surely be blown backwards.

Hamster

Correction: When Edward starts to run, they show the two of them at a side angle and Bella's hair is blowing quite a bit. Then they show it from a front/diagonal-type angle and you can still see the tips of her hair blowing behind her head.

Friday the 13th (2009)

Corrected entry: When Chewie has the shot of alcohol with the flames on the top of it, the actual flame disappears in one shot and the height of the flame differs a few times as well.

Hamster

Correction: Having consumed many flaming shots myself, I can attest to the fact that the flame height and visibility can vary. In fact, I have burned myself on a shotglass because I did not know it was even lit.

Twilight (2008)

Correction: Not true. Repeated viewings show that the 2 couples only leave once- shown from a few angles.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: When Bella first enters the biology classroom, the fan is on but in the next shot of the teacher, you can see the fan and it is now off. In the next shot the fan is on again and Bella walks by it as it blows her hair.

Hamster

Correction: There are two fans, one Bella walks by at the entrance to the room. That one is on. The one toward the front of the room behind the teacher is off.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: Bella has a cast put on the foot that was broken in the fight with James. She also has a bitemark on her right arm which is bandaged in hospital. But at prom the bandage and bitemark are both gone, even though she still has the cast on her foot.

Hamster

Correction: A bite mark would heal much more quickly than a broken leg.

Corrected entry: At the start of the film, as the train is going along the tracks, smoke billows out of the front of the train in every shot, except one side shot, where no smoke is apparent. (00:05:35)

Hamster

Correction: The film is showing a long journey crammed into a few seconds. As an amateur steam locomotive driver, I can say that it is perfectly normal for the chimney to be perfectly clear for part of a journey whilst steam and/or smoke are billowing out of it on other parts of the journey. It depends on the actions of the driver and fireman, and the atmospheric conditions. The shot referred to is obvious as it is sandwiched between two shots in which the loco is billowing white steam, but that doesn't make it wrong.

Congo (1995)

Corrected entry: When Munro and Dr. Ross are sitting with the General, there's nobody in the lobby. In the next shot a group of people are standing there. (00:31:15)

Hamster

Correction: Most of the times the angles of the shot makes the soldiers in the lobby disappear, but they would be just out of frame (to the left, mostly). The camera simply does not catch the entire lobby. In addition, the men are moving around a little, so could easily have moved to stay out of frame.

Congo (1995)

Corrected entry: At the start of the film, one of Jeffreys eyes is ripped out. Later when his corpse is found by Dr. Ross and Elliot, he has both eyes in his corpse.

Hamster

Correction: We never get to see Jeffrey's entire face, as his head is turned to the side, and only the left side is visible. And even this is only seen in a wide shot, so it is impossible to make out his eye (or lack thereof).
