Continuity mistake: Bodies are left in the mines, for example, Homolka's, yet when the lava flows through, the bodies have vanished.

Continuity mistake: After the Care Bears and Cousins and Kim and Jason finally lock up the evil book, everyone cheers. In the shot of the Bears cheering, we see Good Luck Bear, wearing nothing, cheering. In the next shot he has his yellow raincoat back on.

Continuity mistake: When Nicholas is making the evil potion, he is about to put his shoe with gum on it, inside the cauldron. He hesitates, so the evil book forces the shoe to be thrown into the pot. However in the next shot Nicholas has two shoes back on his feet.

Continuity mistake: In the song "It's Great to Be in the Care Bear Family," the Care Bear Cousins finally obtain their tummy symbols. However in a following shot Playful Heart Monkey is drawn without a symbol, even though he had only just obtained it.

Continuity mistake: During the song "Home is In the Heart," when they dance around the pole tying the ribbons and then slide down the rainbow, Friend Bear is temporarily replaced with Tenderheart Bear.
