Then in a later wide shot when the wardrobe says "We all think so." there is a wall candelabra in between two panels which then disappears again later, when the wardrobe opens her doors and the moths flutter out. Continuity mistake: When Betty Lou watches Martha May shoot the lights from her machine, she is holding a string of lit Christmas lights. Then in the first shot when she leans over the roof, holding the Christmas lights, the strings of lights is off and are then lit in the following shots.

Continuity mistake: When the Grinch burns the Christmas tree, in an overhead shot he isn't anywhere in sight, then in the following closeup he's back beside the ashes of the tree.

Continuity mistake: When the two women who adopted the Grinch show him a plate of cookies on a santa plate when he was younger, one cookie with red icing on it falls off the plate. In the next shot it's back on again.

Continuity mistake: When Max bites the Grinch in the mail room, and the Grinch starts spinning around, a pile of presents appears under the wall of mail slots between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Buzz and the others arrive at Al's apartment and try to persuade Woody to leave with them, in some shots the remote control isn't visible (when it should be), until Woody goes over to it and turns on the TV to show them 'Woody's Roundup' - also there is a roll of cellotape sitting a good two metres away from the remote, but seconds later the cellotape and remote are practically side by side. Continuity mistake: In the wideshot when Andy's mum puts Woody on the top shelf, there is nothing visible under the books. Then moments later Woody discovers Wheezy under the same books. (00:09:15 - 00:11:40)

Continuity mistake: When Rachel takes her first bite from the peanut butter and jelly sandwich, in the wideshot she is chewing her bite. Then it cuts to the closeup of her, the food is suddenly gone from her mouth. (01:24:05)

Continuity mistake: When Homer falls down the gorge, the medics lift him up on a bungee and to the top of the cliff. Between shots the edge of the cliff changes from green grass to brown rock. (00:20:05)

Continuity mistake: The photo Edna sends to Bart differs when he shows his parents. The angle is different from what it was previously, revealing part of a photo frame on the wall which wasn't there before, and the sheets/pillows on the bed are different, and her eyes are closed when they look at it, but when Bart looked at it, they were open. (00:09:05 - 00:18:25)
