Continuity mistake: When Karen finds Terry's corpse, there is nothing visible on her, and half her body is shown. In the next shot a white blanket is suddenly on her body, all the way up to her neck. (01:03:15)

Continuity mistake: Terry drops the phone on the floor, so that it hangs from the desk. The telephone cable is long enough to allow it to reach the file cabinet without being too tensed. If she dropped the receiver there, the cable would not retract so much as to leave it hanging from the desk. (01:00:45)

Continuity mistake: When the 6 News begins it's broadcast, Karen is seen passing the camera and walking over to the news desk. It cuts, then goes back, and Karen now walks past and towards the desk a second time. (00:17:35)

Continuity mistake: When Karen and Bill are in bed, and Karen has a nightmarish flashback, she pulls back from Bill. Between shots, the position of her hands on his arm, and the bedsheets wrapped around them changes. (00:16:30)

Continuity mistake: When the guys leave in the speedboat, one of them throws Jennifer's bikini into the lake. Between shots, the direction of where it is going changes.

Continuity mistake: During the news broadcast, the TV announcer is evenly lit. You can see this in the side view of him, as well as on the TV monitor that's next to him. Then, just after he says "there is no reasonable cause for alarm," the microphone in front of him is suddenly casting a big shadow on him.

Continuity mistake: After the second rape, on the rock, as Jennifer lays on the rock, her hair changes position between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Jennifer is on the typewriter, the platen almost reaches the end of the typewriter. In the next shot it is still at the other side of the typewriter.

Continuity mistake: When Jennifer goes to put her clothes in the drawer, and finds the gun, the position of the clothes in the draw changes in a closeup.

Continuity mistake: When Matthew rapes Jennifer it is apparent in the closeup, that there are no lens in his glasses, even though there are, in scenes before and after.
