Continuity mistake: As Lincoln and Jordan are escaping they enter a room and we then see the guards coming down a set of stairs. You then hear Jordan shout at Lincoln. As the camera cuts back, we see the same guard run down the same set of stairs again.
Continuity mistake: Towards the beginning of the film, when Lincoln and Jordan first escape, we see them running and hiding in the room full of new 'products'. Water is constantly falling from the ceiling like rain, and both of them are soaked, to the point of water running from their hair and clothing in streams. In the next shot, however, when they have just left the room, they are little more than damp.
Continuity mistake: When Lincoln-clone enters the elevator, we see the short older clone has his shoulder in front of Lincoln's. The doors close and the camera switches to an overhead angle and we see Lincoln's shoulder is now in front.
Visible crew/equipment: During the freeway chase, when both the Hummer and the Dodge Magnum are shown flipping over at the same time, the "Bay Buster" camera truck is briefly visible in the background.
Factual error: When Lincoln Six Echo escapes in Tom's car, he starts the engine using his fingerprint, which turns out to be identical to Tom's, since he's Tom's clone. Actually, fingerprints are formed in the womb and take shape mostly due to environmental conditions inside. They are not genetically defined or inherited, so Lincoln's prints should be completely different.
Revealing mistake: During the car chase with the railway train wheels, when some of the cars get destroyed and flipped, you can see flame and smoke from the bottoms of the flipped cars where the cannons fired to flip them.
Continuity mistake: When Jordan and Lincoln are at Mac's house, right after they escape, the lava in the lava lamp changes shape and location drastically between shots. (The lava changes much more than would be possible in that short amount of time).
Other mistake: Gandu 3 Echo has initials on his sleeve which read G3A. This would be fine if he was Gandu 3 Alpha, but he's not (although he should be - see the other entry relating to him). It should read G3E.
Continuity mistake: When Jordan and Lincoln arrive at Tom's place the door opens different directions between shots.
Other mistake: Starkweather Two Delta, the guy that wins the lottery in the first elevator scene, tells us he was there for 6 months. Which should have put him in the "G" (Gamma) or "J" (Juno) series instead of the Delta series.
Revealing mistake: During the truck chase and the train wheels being offloaded into the path of the pursuing cars, on the car that gets hit after the hummer we can see the metal canister used to roll the car.
Continuity mistake: When Lincoln Six Echo goes to the lab as Tom Lincoln on the chopper the scars on his face swaps side.
Continuity mistake: When Lincoln 6 Echo goes into the facility, he is wearing a blue shirt. When he comes out again, it's purple.
Continuity mistake: When the police car stops on the middle of the four way junction, the first shot shows cars parked or waiting in all three lanes, but in the shot where they get broadsided, the armoured van is suddenly coming from the lane which previoulsy had a silver sportscar in it.
Continuity mistake: When Lincoln and Jordan board the trailer with the train axles, both mudflaps of the trailer are branded Manac (Also has a sticker with the brand on the trailer) and are black with white font As the axles start to fall off, the mudflaps become Mack brand and are white with black font.
Other mistake: When Lincoln and Jordan first enter the city, just before Jordan sees a poster of herself, in the background you can see two trains high in the air, with a skyscraper behind them. If you look carefully at the shadows cast by the two trains, one of them is completely wrong. The train that goes from left to right has its shadow trailing on its left side, and the train going from right to left has its shadow trailing on its right side. Irrespective of which direction the two trains are travelling, both their shadows should be trailing from the same side, as there is only one light source, i.e. the sun.
Chosen answer: It appears to be some sort of cable - it can be seen leading to the bracelet in the shot from above the bed immediately prior to the one where Lincoln unplugs it. Exactly what it does is never revealed, but it seems likely to be some sort of monitoring system, keeping an eye on Lincoln's health through sensors in the bracelet.
