Continuity mistake: The small cupboard where Andy finds Chucky hiding in, in Miss Kettlewell's classroom is full of toys. When Miss Kettlewell grabs Chucky from the cupboard you can see there is a toy crocodile in it, but in the next wide shot of Andy at his desk, you can see the open cupboard, and the crocdile has vanished, along with other toys changing position. Continuity mistake: When Miss Kettlewell says "No? Then who did?" all the children leave the room, and the door closes. In the next shot we see the door closing again. (00:34:00)
Continuity mistake: Andy has to stay behind at school, and sits at a desk. The desk he sits on has some text books scattered on it. In one shot the books are slightly hanging off the table, but in the next shot the books are neatly placed on the centre of the desk. (00:34:05)
Continuity mistake: Andy leans forward and puts his head down near the desk, when Miss Kettlewell shouts "Head down!" at him. In the next shot he is sitting upright with his head up. (00:34:10)
Continuity mistake: When Miss Kettlewell says "Head down!" to Andy, Andy's elbows are resting on some textbooks on the desk. In the next shot the textbook are in front of him. (00:34:10)
Continuity mistake: When Miss Kettlewell throws Chucky into her closet, on the right of her big silver desk is a black pencil pot. But in the next wide shot of the classroom, the black pencil pot has moved much further to the left of her desk. Other items on the desk, such as the sheets of paper, and books also move. (00:34:10)
Continuity mistake: In the classroom scene, the huge blow-up globe sitting by the wall changes position between shots. (00:34:10)
Continuity mistake: After Miss Kettlewell locks Chucky up in the classroom closet, look at the toys and books on the children's desks as she leaves. When Andy walks up to the closet after she leaves, the stuff on the students' desks has changed. (00:34:15)
Continuity mistake: After the teacher has thrown Chucky into the closet there is a closeup of Andy. You can see a book with red edges on his desk. When it cuts to a shot from above you can see the book has changed. (00:34:15)
Continuity mistake: When the teacher throws Chucky into the closet you can see three tables in the shot. All three tables are stacked close to each other. When it cuts to a wide shot the tables are moved farther away from each other. (00:34:15)
Visible crew/equipment: When Miss Kettlewell leaves the classroom with Andy in it, as she opens and closes the door, above the door some sort of crew equipment can be seen. It is NOT anything connected to the door, as it is not seen in previous or following shots. (00:34:25)
Continuity mistake: Throughout the classroom scene, there is a row of desks which are right by the wall, which keep either disappearing or moving. (00:34:40)
Revealing mistake: When Miss Kettlewell is searching in the closet for Andy, you can clearly see shadows of crewmembers moving about on the hanging coats and walls, on the left hand side of the screen. (00:36:20)
Continuity mistake: In the school cloakroom above the coats, is a shelf of dodgeballs, footballs and basketballs. Look at the arrangement of the balls when Miss Kettlewell enters the cloakroom. When Miss Kettlewell is stabbed, and crashes into the desks, you can see in the cloakroom that the arrangement has totally changed and additional items have appeared. (00:36:25 - 00:37:05)
Continuity mistake: When Miss Kettlewell is stabbed with the bike pump by Chucky, she drops her keys to the floor. When Chucky exits the cloakroom with the ruler, the whole floor is visible, but the keys have vanished. (00:36:50)
Continuity mistake: Miss Kettlewell gets stabbed, and goes flying out of her cupboard. As she flies into the desks and falls she is wearing tights, but in the previous shots she wasn't. (00:36:55)
Continuity mistake: The long ruler beside the classroom closet door keeps disappearing and then reappearing. (00:36:55)
Continuity mistake: When Chucky walks out of the closet saying "You've been very naughty..." there is no gap between the clothes hanging on the rack behind him, where they were pulled apart previously by Miss Kettlewell. In the next shot, there is again. (00:37:00)
Visible crew/equipment: After Andy has came back from his school, Phil and Joanne are arguing in their room about Andy and his problems. Then there is a travelling shot of the wall in direction to Andy's room, in the travelling shot there's an old black and white photograph (6th) of a woman which reflects the movie camera man and one of his hands while Phil says "For whom Joanne? For him?" (00:40:35)
Continuity mistake: When Andy equips himself with an electric knife, he heads for the basement, opening the door. We then see a shot of the basement, completely dark except for a window-shaped patch of light. When Andy gets down the stairs, the basement is much more brighter. (00:41:10)
