Continuity mistake: When the cloud clipper first appears from beneath Care-a-Lot's river, notice how there's a star-o-scope on the bow. Moments later, Wish Bear steps up to the bow...but the star-o-scope has disappeared. (00:26:25)
Continuity mistake: After the cloud clipper sets off on a voyage, the scene changes to the Forest of Feelings - where a four-color rainbow is circling down towards the ground, representing Friend Bear, Secret Bear, Kim and Jason. Notice the interior portion of the rainbow has reversed colors relative to the exterior; but immediately before the rainbow dissipates, the colors adjust themselves back to normal. (00:26:55)
Continuity mistake: As Kim, Jason, Friend and Secret Bear are hanging from a tree upon entering the Forest of Feelings, notice that Jason's shoes are white, excluding a small black stripe on each one. As Secret Bear motions that Brave Heart Lion is near, the entire right side of each shoe has turned completely black. (00:27:25)
Continuity mistake: When Braveheart Lion climbs the tree and extends his hand in an attempt to save Kim, Jason, Secret Bear and Friend Bear as they dangle from a branch, it finally snaps off. However, the branch is nowhere to be seen as everyone falls to the clouds in the next shot. (00:27:45)
Continuity mistake: Braveheart Lion's orange tail has a tassel on the end of it which is noticeable throughout the movie. However in one scene when the Care Bear family is lined up and exiting the Hall of Hearts, Secret Bear shouts "Yeah!" and causes everybody to tumble like dominoes. At the front of the line, Braveheart is seen rising to his feet; but notice how the tassel is now missing. (00:27:55 - 01:08:35)
Continuity mistake: When Playful Heart Monkey swings down from a tree to grab Kim's ponytail, she has both hands raised in the air. From a different angle, Kim's hands are placed on the ground behind her instead. (00:28:25)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Playful Heart Monkey compares Kim and Jason's characteristics to those of lions with haircuts, Friend Bear is shown leaning on Secret Bear. But after Kim and Jason correct Playful Heart, he walks away causing the bears to lose their balance. But somehow they switch positions right before falling to the clouds. (00:28:35)
Continuity mistake: During the intro of "Home Is In Your Heart," Friend Bear and the others are shown walking on a trail decorated with colorful stars. But as she begins to sing in the next shot, all of the stars have changed color to yellow. (00:29:35)
Continuity mistake: During "Home Is In Your Heart," Friend Bear is watering the clouds to make a rainbow grow. On her right side is a bird. But when the rainbow appears a second later, the bird has vanished. (00:29:40)
Continuity mistake: During "Home Is In Your Heart," Friend Bear can be seen pouring water upon the clouds. A rainbow soon appears with a blue, green, yellow, orange and red sequence. In the next shot, she begins to slide over the rainbow which now has reversed colors. (00:29:40)
Continuity mistake: When Playful Heart Monkey climbs the tree during "Home Is In Your Heart," he has a small red heart on his right side. But as he swings from a limb in the next shot, this heart briefly appears on his left side. (00:30:40)
Continuity mistake: During "Home Is In Your Heart," Kim begins to sing about a rose, and the one she's holding has leaves and a stem attached; but when Secret Bear reaches out to stroke it, these parts have disappeared. Kim then tosses the rose to distract a bee and, all of a sudden, the stem and leaves reappear. (00:30:45)
Continuity mistake: Towards the end of "Home Is In Your Heart," everybody starts running through a trail in the Forest of Feelings. Notice, for instance, that Jason's left hand is holding Secret Bear's right hand. But in the next shot, everybody in the chain has suddenly switched hands. (00:32:30)
Continuity mistake: After the Care Bears sing "Home Is In Your Heart", Nicholas is seen casting spells over a cauldron inside the castle beside an empty podium. In the next shot, the evil spirit's book suddenly appears on the podium. (00:33:35)
Continuity mistake: Right when Love-a-Lot Bear calls attention to Bedtime Bear falling overboard, Tenderheart is seen navigating the cloud clipper. Take a look at his steering wheel, which is mounted in front of the pedestal. A few moments later when a whirlpool strikes, the wheel spins out of control; but now it happens to be fastened behind the pedestal. (00:35:50)
Continuity mistake: When the cloud clipper first appears in the Forest of Feelings, Wish Bear is on the bow looking through a star-o-scope - which has a green handle and mount. By the time a whirlpool traps the clipper, Wish Bear asks Tenderheart "Why are you turning here?" Here the scope parts have changed color to yellow. (00:35:50 - 00:37:05)
Continuity mistake: When the boat is caught in whirlpool and is being pulled down, there is a shot of the penguin and a bear holding on to the helm. The penguin has symbol on his tummy (which he doesn't get until the end of the movie). (00:36:00)
Continuity mistake: After Cozy Heart Penguin introduces herself and jumps aboard the cloud clipper, it resumes sailing down the river and, on top of the mast, a pink banner is visible flapping in the wind. Several shots later when a whirlpool takes over, Cozy Heart says, "We're caught," but now there's no banner on the mast. (00:36:35 - 00:37:10)
Continuity mistake: After Cozy Heart Penguin is introduced, an evil barracuda sets out to trap the cloud clipper in a whirlpool - and it's not long before Tenderheart loses control of his steering wheel. Up above the deck we can see the mast rotating on a fixed point in a counterclockwise manner; but in the next shot its motion has suddenly wandered dramatically off-center. (00:36:50)
Continuity mistake: After Cozy Heart Penguin jumps on board with the Care Bears, a whirlpool begins to swerve the cloud clipper and Tenderheart's steering wheel begins to spin out of control. Initially the wheel has eight handles, but look closely once it stops: now only six handles are there. (00:36:50)
