Spider-Man

Continuity mistake: After the wrestling match when Peter goes to collect his money only to receive 100 bucks, he argues with the guy, if you watch, the guys hand is on the money bills, yet in the following shot, his right arm as well as his hand are on the desk. (00:40:00)

The-Immortal

Continuity mistake: In the scene on the street, right after the crook escapes with the wrestling money, Peter is standing watching all the people rush to his uncle Ben - there is a girl wearing a black leather jacket, white shirt and black go-go boots walking with 2 guys. When Peter runs to his uncle, she is behind him. When Peter pushes through the crowd, the girl is already there, to the right of the shot. (00:41:25)

Continuity mistake: After Uncle Ben dies and Peter takes off down the alleyway there is an obvious cut to a green screen. His hair was flowing in the air, then becomes suddenly flat with no wind passing. (00:42:50)

Spider-Man mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Spider-Man is chasing the crook with the gun, the crook shoots 7 times through the roof of the car. Shortly afterwards you can see 9 bullet holes in an overhead shot. As the scene moves along there is another overhead shot (just after Spider-Man jumps the bridge) - no bullet holes. Seconds later the bullet holes return. (00:44:40)

Spider-Man mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Parker is chasing the robber into the abandoned warehouse, you see a shot of the robber holding the gun in his left hand and carrying the money bag in his right hand. However, the next shot you see him load a clip into the gun with the bag in his left hand and the gun in his right hand. (00:45:25)

Continuity mistake: When Uncle Ben's killer enters the warehouse he reloads his gun and pulls the slide back to cock it. Later, when he points the same gun at Peter, you can hear the distinct sound of the hammer being pulled back. However, despite cocking the gun twice, you can see that the gun is not cocked. (00:46:25)

Spider-Man mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Peter Parker confronts Uncle Ben's killer in the warehouse, after Parker slams him through the glass windows in the door, the killer drops his gun and pulls out a knife. After he is disarmed of the knife, Peter kicks him up against the wall. At this point the killer has the gun back in his hand. (00:47:50)

Continuity mistake: When fighting the Carjacker, Peter dropkicks him using a pipe. When Peter does this, the Carjacker has his cap on as he moves out of frame. When moving into the next shot, the Carjacker no longer has his hat, which now disappeared into thin air, never to be seen again. (00:47:50)

Spider-Man mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Osbourne is talking to Peter at the graduation, the scene keeps changing from him having one hand on Peter's shoulder to both to none. You see this just after Harry sees Mary Jane break up with Flash. (00:49:40)

MCKD

Continuity mistake: When Peter and Mary Jane are talking outside the diner, her trechcoat collar is first lying flat, then is tucked in, then is flat. It happens several times when the shot goes back and forth from Peter to Mary Jane. (00:55:10)

Continuity mistake: When Mary Jane and Peter are talking in the street right after she left the diner, every time a car passes by behind her and then the camera goes to Peter, those cars would mysteriously vanish since you can clearly see that there are no moving vehicles behind him. (00:55:10)

Spider-Man mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Peter is talking to Mary Jane outside the diner, the same man wearing a flat cap is walking behind Peter 3 or 4 times. First when Peter says "so you're acting now?", then when he talks about Harry not living on earth, then again when Mary Jane walks off. (00:55:15)

Continuity mistake: When Peter is talking to Mary Jane in front of the diner, a light maroon colored caddy passes by twice. The first time when she says she just got off a job, the second when the boss shouts at her. Sure, there could be two cars the same color in NY, but with the same driver...? (00:55:15)

MCKD

Continuity mistake: When Peter catches up with Mary Jane outside the cafe, there is a motorcycle that passes by Mary Jane. When the camera cuts back to Peter there is no evidence of a motorcycle passing, not even a sound. (00:55:40)

Continuity mistake: When Peter runs into Mary Jane leaving her job at the diner, when she says "some dream, huh?" she wraps her jacket around her and folds her arms. After a brief cut of Peter her jacket's open - she then says "don't tell Harry", wraps her jacket around herself and folds her arms again. (00:55:45)

Spider-Man mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Peter is talking with Mary Jane outside the diner where she works, watch the positioning of the shadows in the background. As the camera shoots from Peter's point-of-view, the sun is casting shadows up the street. When the shots change to MJ's point-of-view, the shadows are pointing down the street, as if the sun had just moved ahead several hours. (00:57:30)

Continuity mistake: In the middle of the film when we see Peter, Harry and Norman Osborn talking, Norman says "Perhaps you could tell me who she is, this mystery girl Harry's been dating" If you watch Harry, in one shot he has both arms on the table and in the following shot, he is one arm up and is scratching his head. (00:57:35)

Spider-Man mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Spider-Man is taking snapshots of the armored car burglary, one of the burglars says "watch the street". As the camera snaps you see them pointing rifles or machine guns towards the sky and when Spider-Man lands on them to dispatch them, the weapons are gone... (00:58:20)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Spidey is stopping the armored car robbery, he dispatches several thugs with some fancy, acrobatic fighting. When he lands, a money bag is visible in front of him that wasn't there in the wide shot. (00:58:30)

Factual error: In the museum, Peter is filming in real-time moving biological specimens shot through 'the largest electron microscope on the Eastern seaboard'. You can't film live specimens in an electron microscope. The electron beam only works in a vacuum chamber, in which the specimen - invariably dead - is held. The microscope is identified as a scanning electron microscope, and nobody can fire an electron stream through air. The electrons will collide with gas molecules and scatter, ruining the image.

Question: What was Tobey Maguire's full process to get Spider-man's body? What was his body and fighting training and food diets? Is there any website where they have it in full writing?

Answer: The following is taken directly from People Magazine May 27, 2002: WORKOUT: Maguire exercised for at least 3.5 hours, six days a week, with his regimen varying "depending on how sore he felt," says Joujon-Roche. Mornings were spent improving his flexibility with yoga and splits, along with building strength through abdominal and lower-body exercises on an oversize ball. "We would just work on each body part until we killed it," Joujon-Roche says. "Then the next day we'd go to another and kill that one." Afternoons were devoted to cardiovascular activities like martial arts and cycling, to burn fat, plus gymnastics. "Tobey did his own flips with that Spider-Man hood on," says Joujon-Roche. "We gave him self-assuredness." DIET: For breakfast Joujon-Roche made the actor, a vegetarian, a "high-protein shake that included nuts, essential oils and vitamins." Lunch, he says, was often "marinated tofu with broccoli and walnuts and dinner a big veggie burger with brown rice." The menu varied with Maguire's output. "If his workout was pure weights," says Joujon-Roche, "he needed protein. If he did cardio, he'd have a shake of all carbs."
