Spider-Man

Continuity mistake: After Mary Jane slips while carrying the food tray and the food is thrown into the air, the shot facing the ceiling showing the food falling shows the bowl of jello to hit first and the apple to hit last, while the next shot shows Peter catching the apple first and the bowl of jello last. Spider-Man mistake picture

Continuity mistake: In the scene in which Peter and Flash are fighting in the hall, Harry runs up to Mary Jane to see what is happening, seconds later Peter jumps up to avoid Flash's friend charging him from behind. In the shot of Peter flipping in the air, you can see that Harry is no longer standing next to Mary Jane, a girl in a blue sweater is. After Peter lands, the camera cuts back to Mary Jane and Harry is once again by her side. (00:24:25)

Continuity mistake: When Peter Parker runs into the alley and tests his wall-crawling for the first time, when he runs into the alley the wall he climbs is brick covered with dirty black soot/fungus. After he begins his climb it is completely brown. (00:24:50)

Continuity mistake: When Peter is taking out the trash, and MJ walks out and says, "Were you listening to that?". Watch Peter as he turns around to look at MJ twice. (00:27:40)

The-Immortal

Continuity mistake: When MJ and Peter are discussing the beating that Peter gave Flash that morning in school, MJ says, "He's just glad you didn't give him a black eye for graduation." This scene takes place the day after Peter was bitten by the spider, when the weather is cold. High school graduations generally take place in June or late May - so any black eye Peter might have given Flash would long be healed up by graduation. (00:29:15)

Continuity mistake: When Peter is practising throwing spider webs in his bedroom, his first attempt hits a model rocket and it breaks in many pieces. A few shots later when he finally hits the Dr. Pepper can, as he whips it across the room you can see the rocket back in one piece, just leaning against the wall. (00:33:15)

Dr Wilson

Spider-Man mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Norman is getting ready to test himself, he lies down on the bed, fastens himself in and the doctor goes to the computer. However, when it shows him being brought in to the chamber he has several electrodes connected to his chest and head. (00:15:20)

Suggested correction: At first the electrodes are beside Norman's head. While the doctor is fixing him in place, at one point camera focuses on his face. Later when he's stepping back for the PC, the electrodes can actually be seen stuck on his body. You can see them if you have an HD copy. So the camera focusing on his face is indicating that the doctor's doing whatever necessary for the process.

Question: What was Tobey Maguire's full process to get Spider-man's body? What was his body and fighting training and food diets? Is there any website where they have it in full writing?

Answer: The following is taken directly from People Magazine May 27, 2002: WORKOUT: Maguire exercised for at least 3.5 hours, six days a week, with his regimen varying "depending on how sore he felt," says Joujon-Roche. Mornings were spent improving his flexibility with yoga and splits, along with building strength through abdominal and lower-body exercises on an oversize ball. "We would just work on each body part until we killed it," Joujon-Roche says. "Then the next day we'd go to another and kill that one." Afternoons were devoted to cardiovascular activities like martial arts and cycling, to burn fat, plus gymnastics. "Tobey did his own flips with that Spider-Man hood on," says Joujon-Roche. "We gave him self-assuredness." DIET: For breakfast Joujon-Roche made the actor, a vegetarian, a "high-protein shake that included nuts, essential oils and vitamins." Lunch, he says, was often "marinated tofu with broccoli and walnuts and dinner a big veggie burger with brown rice." The menu varied with Maguire's output. "If his workout was pure weights," says Joujon-Roche, "he needed protein. If he did cardio, he'd have a shake of all carbs."
