Spider-Man

Other mistake: The scene at Columbia University was filmed on an unseasonably warm spring day, however, the costume department had provided the high school extras with cold-weather clothing. The real Columbia University students can be seen in the background wearing shorts and t-shirts by contrast. (00:05:35)

Other mistake: After Uncle Ben gets shot, he is clutching his wound. When Peter shows up, they hold hands until Uncle Ben dies, yet there is no blood on Peter's hand. If Uncle Ben were just covering a gun shot wound, wouldn't there be blood on his hand, which would then be on Peter's? (00:42:00)

Spider-Man mistake picture

Other mistake: In the scene after Spider-Man stops the convenience store robbers, it shows a newspaper article. This article virtually repeats itself. Here's what you can read: "Witnesses claim an unknown masked man was seen exiting the Ling Deli after stopping two suspects from attempting to rob the establishment. Police spokesman John Young said "we've heard of Samaritans, but in 20 years I've never seen anything like this." The two suspects were taken to the county jail....(cutoff)....attempting to rob that same establishment. Police spokesman John Young said "we've heard of Samaritans, but in 20 years I've never seen anything like this." The two suspects were taken to the county jail." (00:52:25)

Spider-Man mistake picture

Other mistake: During the shots of newspapers with articles about Spider-Man, if you look closely at the shot of the newspaper article just before the shot of Spider-Man putting on his mask, the second column is repeated in the fourth column - easiest to spot is "NYPD spokesperson, Sean Young..." appears twice. (00:52:55)

Other mistake: After Spider-Man saves MJ after the World Unity Festival and is swinging quickly away, he is carrying her so that she is facing backwards. When we see a shot of MJ smiling, however, her hair is blowing very lightly in the direction they're heading. (01:07:10)

Other mistake: When Spider-Man tries to punch the Green Goblin before he says "impressive", the Goblin blocks his punch. However, the punch would not have hit the Goblin even if he hadn't blocked it. There's nothing to suggest the Goblin moved at all, so why would Spidey punch through mid-air when he's trying to hit the Goblin? (01:08:20)

Other mistake: When Peter talks to Mary Jane on the cell phone, it's already been mentioned that cell phones don't have dial tones, but additionally, if we couldn't hear Mary Jane actually talking, it wouldn't make sense to hear her hang up either. (01:08:25)

Other mistake: When Spider-Man saves the baby from the burning building, it's amazing that the baby and the blanket are so clean - no soot, smoke damage, charring, etc. The firefighters have obvious soot around their noses from trying to breathe in that area. Did Spidey manage to give the baby a bath before presenting it to momma? (01:19:40)

Other mistake: When Spider-Man enters the burning building, the Green Goblin jumps out from under a cloak, punches him in the face and Spider-Man is thrown backwards. However, for Spider-Man to be propelled back the way that he was the Green Goblin would have had to punch him in the torso. Spider-Man's head should have snapped back first when the Green Goblin hit him. (01:23:55)

Suggested correction: He hits the face so naturally his head is flying and the body is following.

Other mistake: The scene in the hospital is supposed to take place in winter, since it's after Thanksgiving, but the trees visible outside the window are in bloom. (01:32:25)

Other mistake: When the tram with all the kids is falling, the kids are yelling. But the adult behind them isn't yelling and looks rather bored. (01:38:10)

Other mistake: When the cable car is dropping and swinging around, the occupants of the cable car remain standing in the same position. They should have been thrown to the floor when the initial drop was halted, and should have been tossed from side to side in the car as it swung around. (01:38:30)

Other mistake: There is no way possible that MJ, would have been able to fall from the height that she fell from while being knocked from Spider-Man's grasp onto the edge of that cable car during the bridge scene. It's hard enough to believe that she would be able to withstand the force of being knocked around in circles while holding onto a web, let alone landing directly onto the edge of a cable car. Spider-Man mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Norman is getting ready to test himself, he lies down on the bed, fastens himself in and the doctor goes to the computer. However, when it shows him being brought in to the chamber he has several electrodes connected to his chest and head. (00:15:20)

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: At first the electrodes are beside Norman's head. While the doctor is fixing him in place, at one point camera focuses on his face. Later when he's stepping back for the PC, the electrodes can actually be seen stuck on his body. You can see them if you have an HD copy. So the camera focusing on his face is indicating that the doctor's doing whatever necessary for the process.
