Trivia: When Delores is reassembling herself, you can see she is missing the ring finger of her left hand. If you recall, Beetlejuice had this same finger adorned with a ring in his pocket when he attempted to marry Lydia in the first film.

Trivia: SPOILERS: Director Todd Phillips has defended the controversial ending, in which it is revealed that Arthur is not the Joker who would go on to fight Batman when he is stabbed and killed by another inmate, who then carves a smile onto his face. Phillips noted that the two films were called "Joker," and not "THE Joker," and stated that Arthur was the person who inspired the real Joker—presumably the inmate who killed him. However, this explanation was poorly received by fans, who felt duped.

Trivia: Vinnie Jones claimed he was offered a cameo role in this film reprising his role as Juggernaut from X-Men: The Last Stand, but turned it down as he did not like the process of having his costume put on.

Trivia: When Lacey Chabert turns on the TV for Jack, you see Lindsay Lohan onscreen. Lacey says, "Hmm, I went to school with a girl that looks like that." Lacey Chabert and Lindsay Lohan were in the Mean Girls movie together and were in school in that movie. (00:20:10)

Trivia: Following the release of "Sonic the Hedgehog 2", co-star Jim Carrey stated that he was considering retiring from acting, as he felt he had "done enough" in the film industry and was becoming somewhat burned out. However, he eventually agreed to star in this film because he loves playing the evil-genius Dr. Robotnik. Carrey also laughingly admitted that the huge paycheck he got was one of the deciding factors, especially because he "buys a lot of stuff."

Trivia: Lee Majors and Heather Thomas, who portrayed Colt Seavers and Jody Banks in the original television series, have cameos as the police officers who arrest Gail and Tom during the mid-credit scene.

Trivia: This is the second film in which Adrien Brody won the Academy Award for Best Actor for portraying a Holocaust survivor, following The Pianist. His acceptance speech was also the longest in the ceremony's history, clocking in at 5 minutes and 40 seconds.

Trivia: James Paxton, Bill Paxton's son, has a cameo as the angry hotel guest during the rodeo sequence.

Trivia: A fan created a poster of this film emulating the design of the musical's iconic poster. Upon seeing this image, Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba, bizarrely called it the most offensive thing she had ever seen.

Trivia: The wallpaper in the hotel room, where the girls spend the night after the diner incident, matches the carpet in the hotel from The Shining.

Trivia: When the Xenomorph lands over Kay, director Fede Alvarez asked for a bucket of cold water to be thrown at Isabela Merced to obtain a better scare face. Isabela says she was not informed earlier that they were going to throw cold water on her, so the face you see in that scene is her real face of fright trying to catch air because of how scared she was.

Trivia: This film will actually have the shortest amount of time elapsed between installments, releasing around 2 years and 4 months after Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Trivia: This movie is based on Cecilia arriving in Italy not knowing Italian, save for the most rudimentary greetings. The Italian dub, however, changes that. They make up that her mother was Italian and she grew up speaking the language with complete fluency. That creates a lot of nonsensical moments; people insult others to their face without the language barrier present in the original or repeat what another person just said (they were translating in the original). The whole ceremony was redubbed from being in Italian to being in Latin (explaining why she can't understand it). Also, the prioress randomly speaks French to Cecilia sometimes, claiming the convent was founded by a French nun and she likes the language.
