Continuity mistake: When the lion statue from the library comes alive, Stantz stares at it, hair nicely brushed. The shot swaps to an aerial angle where a breeze blows, and his hair is all messed up. Instant cut to a shot from behind, and the breeze is gone, his hair not fluttering anymore and not so messed up as a frame before.
Continuity mistake: Inside the car, during the freeze-out, when Callie asks Phoebe if she's ready to be a Spengler again, her hand is suddenly on the dashboard between shots.
Continuity mistake: Inside Nadeem's secret room, Lucky touches the horns on the wall with her left hand. In the immediate wide angle, she's using her right hand instead.
Continuity mistake: When Manhattan is freezing, Phoebe and Callie are in the car and Phoebe's glasses rest on the lower end of her nose, close to the tip. A shot later, they've moved upwards.
Continuity mistake: When Manhattan freezes, the group meets at the HQ and Janine raises her right arm towards her chest and throat. An instant cut later, it's now her left arm raised instead.
Continuity mistake: During the first bust of the dragon ghost, there's a tissue paper on the dashboard of the police car that disappears between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Trevor sticks his finger out of the leaking hole, there's black mould stuck to it, which disappears a shot later.
Continuity mistake: When the dragon ghost flies by the police car, one of them is suddenly holding up a plastic cup between instant cuts.

Deliberate mistake: When Phoebe is about to destroy the lion statue, police cars arrive at the scene. Barely a second and a half later, suddenly the place is filled with cops who have managed to park the cars, step out, take positions, and aim. It speeds up the action of the film, but it's very awkward.
Continuity mistake: When Stantz finds the trash bag on the lion statue, the tip of the bag and the knot hang way over the edge of the base. An instant cut later, they are several centimetres behind.
Continuity mistake: When Venkman interviews Nadeem, the position of the pens in the glass swaps between aligned and messed up.
Continuity mistake: When Venkman questions Nadeem, he says "Hypothetical" and raises a pen. From the immediate angle from behind, it's lowered.
Continuity mistake: When Nadeem is being interviewed, the strap on the left (our right) is behind his ear in the front shots, or placed in front of the ear in the angles shot from behind.
Continuity mistake: When Harold's widow places the watch on the table, check the painted pattern, and you'll notice that the watch changes position between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Trevor is checking for the black mould, the fan next to Phoebe is facing the far right side of the room. An instant cut later, it's facing the far left side.
Continuity mistake: When Mayor Walter Peck is questioning the group, Phoebe has nobody on the left. An instant cut later, Callie is standing right next to her. This swaps back and forth.
Continuity mistake: After the car stops next to City Hall Park, Callie raises her hand to remove her goggles. A shot later from a side angle and in the following front angle, they're gone.
Continuity mistake: When the possessor moves the tricycle down the street to the Ghostbusters HQs, the doors get blown off the entrance, and the Ghostbusters log/sign falls to the ground (seemed like a soft landing, in that it didn't seem to shatter... but when the long shot of the ice/frost proceeding to the firehouse (Ghostbusters HQ) is shown, the fallen signage is nowhere to be seen. Continuity mistake: When Trevor and Lucky go up to the rooftop before the final battle, they lean over and rest their hands on the middle of a tile. From the opposite angle, they're resting on the section dividing two tiles.
