Continuity mistake: When the Christmas carolers were at Karen's house, the front and rear views of the kids differed - in arrangement by their heights and a taller girl visible in the front view but who was not visible (but should have been) in the rear view. (00:08:14)
Continuity mistake: The clock on the wall behind Casey jumped from 10:45 to 11:00 while he was talking to his wife and daughter. At times, the clock appeared to have 3-4 hands and when a hand should have been visible behind his back pointing at "12", no hands could be seen. (00:19:16 - 00:19:46)
Continuity mistake: Laura's hair was (flipped) above her shoulders when she brought Cody to school. When she was in her car, her hair was much longer, going at least a couple or few inches down her back. Laura's hair was back to its shorter length (above-the-shoulders) when she got to the typing room at work. (00:15:44 - 00:16:06)
Continuity mistake: The man picks up his duffel bag and swings it over his shoulder, but does not use its strap. He runs through the woods, and the strap is over his shoulder. Just before he runs onto the beach, he swings his bag over his shoulder, as if he does not use the shoulder strap in the woods. (00:01:40)
Continuity mistake: Henry's scarf is hanging down loosely and appears to be pinned together near the bottom (by his chest). While Henry is running outside, his scarf goes from loose around the front to having an obvious knot over his right shoulder. (00:02:16 - 00:02:43)
Continuity mistake: At the restaurant, Dr. April's bangs usually have several gaps in them across her forehead (similar to a sawtooth pattern), but are more evenly combed at times. The movement of her head does not change the sawtooth pattern as she turns, so is not enough to explain the variation. (00:05:00 - 00:05:30)
Continuity mistake: When Harry wrapped Lily's ankle injury, there was bloody wrapping below the duct tape. When Karl asked to see Lily's leg, there was no blood showing on the material below the tape. Also, Harry did not completely cover the ankle injury with duct tape like he did to keep creatures from smelling the blood on Lily's stomach cut, questioning why the creatures could not smell the blood on Lily's ankle. Continuity mistake: In the very last scene when Bo is hugging Stanley before the game it reveals his "Never Back Down" tree tattoo on his lower left arm. Yet right after in the closing credits and presumably depicting that same game it showed his left arm after taking a shot with the tattoo removed.
Continuity mistake: The pages/sections of the newspaper on the table are roughly aligned. The upper right-hand corner is near the right edge of the napkin under the coffee cup. In the aerial view, the newspaper sections are staggered. The upper right corner of the top section touches the left side of the napkin, and the bottom section points towards the right corner of the napkin. (00:23:00)
Continuity mistake: Angel had her hands very close to (almost touching) the towel, but when the camera shifted to a front view of her, the towel was a couple feet away from her hands. Also, the peppers that were to the right of her hands were suddenly in front of them (moved with the celery to her left). (02:00:00)
Continuity mistake: The time of day changes multiple times during the first half of the movie. When Danny is talking to Papi, Papi is outside and the sun is in the west indicating late day. In Danny's angle the sun is right overhead. There are multiple times when it is full on overcast in one angle and cloudless blue sky in the next.
Continuity mistake: The amount of wine in Annie's glass (as well as Nic's) decreases then increases without her adding any. Annie had almost one-half a glass of wine when she poured some into Nic's glass, then it was closer to one-fourth full. A little later, Annie's glass appeared to have the amount she initially had when she approached Nic. (00:13:59)
Continuity mistake: Snake swapped the Love Meteorite for the Love Meteorite Lamp. How did Prof. Marmalade continue controlling the 200,000 guinea pigs without the Meteorite as the power source?
Continuity mistake: On the beach at Lyme, while talking with Captain Harville, his jacket can be seen buttoned properly. The scene cuts to the other characters with Wentworth, and when it returns, Harville's jacket button has come loose. The scene cuts again and is fixed on return.
Continuity mistake: As the SUV pulls off alongside the curb, there are trees with orange-coloured leaves on both sides, but the leaves are green when the ladies are talking in the stopped SUV. The leaves from the tree that is about 15' from the curb are right outside the passenger-side windows. (00:10:15)
Continuity mistake: Young Jake and Drew were at the top of an arched embankment. After they took a couple steps down and the camera shifted, the arched hill behind them comprised three step-like ledges. (00:01:37)
Continuity mistake: At Caleb's house, Banshee is sitting on the floor between the couch and coffee table. Two beer cans are near the edge of the coffee table, several inches from and perpendicular to Banshee's chest. After a quick camera shift, the beer cans are closer to and almost parallel to Banshee's chest. When the camera shifts again, the beer cans are at the edge of the coffee table but Banshee is further back and sitting at a different angle. (00:34:43)
Continuity mistake: Travis rearranged a photo on the desk, setting it partially in front of the box and the two pictures were a few inches apart. The next wide view showed the corner of the picture almost aligned with the box or slightly behind it and the two pictures were now almost touching. The angles and locations of the photos changed more than once. (00:09:40 - 00:10:03)
Continuity mistake: Ryan is sitting at the foot of the bed. There is a smaller/shorter closed box behind his back, but the box is not visible next to the taller box with open flaps when Ryan stands up and walks away. (00:05:52)
