Continuity mistake: In the front view of the men on the beach, the man in the dark T-shirt is to the left of the screen (or to the right of the man in the white shirt). The first rear and second front views are consistent. The second rear view shows the men in opposite positions. When the man in white has his arm over the other man's shoulder (front view), the man in black is again to the left of the screen (or to the right of the other man). (00:04:05)
Continuity mistake: Two men are on the beach and a helicopter approaches. The man in the dark T-shirt does not hold anything but waves his right hand/arm. In the rear view, the man suddenly waves a flare. The vivid red smoke rises upwards, at least 8 feet. In the front view, the man waves his right hand, but there is no visible red smoke. The flare and long stream of red smoke reappear. (00:04:08)
Continuity mistake: The man trips, and the three coconuts he is holding land in front of him, inches from his fingers. He crawls a short distance. Only one coconut is visible, and it is to his left. The dinosaur drags the man away. The coconuts are in different places, even though the dinosaur's attack does not scatter them. (00:02:25)
Continuity mistake: The man picks up his duffel bag and swings it over his shoulder, but does not use its strap. He runs through the woods, and the strap is over his shoulder. Just before he runs onto the beach, he swings his bag over his shoulder, as if he does not use the shoulder strap in the woods. (00:01:40)
Factual error: "SOS" is written in the sand on the beach, close to the shoreline. A helicopter lands nearby and four people walk on the sand, leaving shoe imprints over a wide area. The helicopter departs, and the "SOS" is written as it is before the rescue, completely unscathed. The helicopter's rotating blades would disturb/scatter sand and cover most, if not all, of the "SOS." (00:06:14 - 00:06:35)
