Continuity mistake: When Fenn finds the doll in the tree trunk cavity, shadows are cast in several different (contradictory) directions. If Fenn's shadow was in front of him, he was walking west toward the dead tree; north would be to his right. Examples: The tree's trunk and one branch were casting shadows to the south moments earlier and Geary and the tree were casting shadows to the northwest a little later. Geary's shadow was cast westward when Fenn took his photo with the doll. (00:04:28 - 00:06:47)
Continuity mistake: Patrick (head sex trafficker played by Rourke) calls his "pretty babies" to "come to daddy" and two black dogs sit with him, one on each side. When one of Patrick's goons (Dwayne) enters the barn, the dogs change within a few seconds. The two black dogs are suddenly gone and a brown dog takes their place. The brown dog also switched sides of the chair almost instantly. (00:12:03)
Continuity mistake: There is no barn to the left of MacMasters' house (otherwise, it would be visible from the front porch), but when Albert runs from the side of the porch into the open, there is a barn. When Britt got home, there was a barn but it was not where it would have been when Albert was running from Jed's gang. (00:09:10 - 00:10:18)
Continuity mistake: Max Cameron's classroom appears to be slapped together and inconsistent. The wall is white but later tan. The door hinges are on the right, then left. The pencil sharpener, awkwardly mounted on the door frame, gets moved to the right. The hallway is a tan wall, but later just a closed door. Doors comprise the wall behind Dewey and there's a door behind Max, to the right of the white board. (00:59:55 - 01:00:43)
Continuity mistake: The two men (Arabs) sitting at the table in front of Schultz had different amounts of wine in their glasses when the camera "made a 180." Both men had their glasses about half full. After the next camera shift, their glasses returned to their previous levels. The man on the right had about 1" of wine and the man on the left had a trace of wine in his glass. (00:51:28)
Continuity mistake: The pile of clothes Lea took out of the dryer and placed on the table were rearranged differently when the camera shifted to the opposite side. (00:41:52)
Continuity mistake: The amount and color intensity (redness) of the blood on General Ford's facial cuts (nose bridge, cheek, forehead), as well as their precise locations, are not consistent and some° of healing appear to be chronologically out of order (e.g, freshly bled cut, scar, freshly bled cut). Continuity mistake: When Sami was having car problems, her bangs were mostly messy and longer, but suddenly neatly combed straight down a few times, such as after she slammed the hood shut, saw a shadow, and quickly turned around. (00:30:10)
Continuity mistake: When Hagmaier is in the Florida State Prison room waiting for Bundy, his hair changes. Initially, his short bangs are straight across the middle of his forehead. When Bundy sits down, Hagmaier's bangs and top of head are "fluffier" (perhaps blown dry) and combed to the side. (00:11:05)
Continuity mistake: Before Jen gets on the yacht, Aileen's green halter strap can be seen because the left side of her hair is on or over her shoulder. When Jen gets on board, Aileen's hair is in front, covering up the green strap. The camera shifts when Lewis is hugging Jen and Aileen's green strap is visible again with the left side of her hair behind her. There is no noticeable wind and Eileen is standing in the same place. Continuity mistake: Vivian is trying on a red dress in her dressing room when Lucille comes in to talk to her. Throughout the scene as the shots switch back and forth, the dress goes from being pulled up on Vivian's right shoulder, to off the shoulder part way down her arm.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie, the real estate agent greets the McKenzies, lovers of all things open. The potential clients hold the papers in a completely different way at the cut ("I was just telling the Breckins that..." etc). (00:01:15)
Continuity mistake: Ed Harris plays a property manager character and is featured in the beginning of the movie, walking with a pronounced limp, a seemingly painful gait. His character is shown in many other nominal scenes throughout the movie without limping. Most notable, shortly before the end of the movie, his character is shown dancing wildly, spastically, and jumping to music, seemingly unencumbered and fluidly, in a way that his character in the first part of the movie would not have been capable of doing.
Continuity mistake: The angle of the laptop on the kitchen table changed (and no-one was close enough to have moved it). The laptop was initially more evenly aligned with the edge of the (round) table. A little later, the laptop was not visible, but probably should have been. (00:04:09 - 00:04:44)
Continuity mistake: When Suzu collapses on the bridge after vomiting in the lake, in the overview shot, her left hand is away from her right hand. Then there is a closer shot of Suzu where her left and right hand are level with each other. Her hands also move closer to the edge of the bridge between shots. (00:13:00)
Continuity mistake: When the body of Glyndwr Michael (Major Martin) is found by fishermen near Huelva, the sun is setting in the west, almost touching the horizon. The shot of the cart wheeling the body towards the town is filmed, judging by the shadows, at about 3 or 4 in the afternoon. (01:17:57 - 01:18:53)
Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, the players are taking their third card of the hand before the dealer reveals their second card. (00:02:40 - 00:03:15)
Suggested correction: That's not what happened. It was a montage scene. It's not 3 different players, it's the same player and 3 different hands. Notice the card is always dealt to the same spot.
Continuity mistake: When Daryl "D" enters the hidden door, he is wearing no hat. A few seconds later, he is on the stairs and is wearing a black winter hat. (01:12:40)
Continuity mistake: When two officers go to inform Ronald Whitlock (Bruce Willis) about his sons, Ronald shoots his pistol at the Black officer and hits him near his inner right eyebrow. (A large black spot can be seen between his eyebrows.) When the camera shows the dead officer, the black mark is gone and the bullet hole is on his forehead centered about 2" above his left eye. Continuity mistake: After the police officer starts dragging his wounded partner toward their SUV, the camera shifts to Jake and Henrietta talking along the side of the house. When the camera returns to the police officers, the officer dragging the other officer has not made any progress and even appears to be further back from where he started. (01:21:45)
