Continuity mistake: David's [Ralph Fiennes] glass on the table is filled to within about 1" from the top. When he raises the glass to his mouth, the amount is about 1" lower, which may explain why the lemon slice is now floating diagonally instead of vertically. (00:01:36)

When the camera shifts toward Slahi, the lock is at least twice as far away from the box and at a different angle. Continuity mistake: Vampires don't like sunlight, but when Nathan was walking toward Elaine, the sun was shining through the windows on him. When the camera shifted to Elaine, the curtains/blinds behind her were closed, which would not enable enough sunlight to penetrate into the room and onto Nathan like it did. Continuity mistake: Danny's car is shown going over the cliff twice - before and after Danny shoots himself. Right before going over the first time, Danny is shown with his right hand on the steering wheel but the second time with his right hand on the rifle (which is pointed toward his neck). (00:32:22)
Continuity mistake: The coach stopped his truck along the field, parallel to Billy's Jeep but not as far up the driveway. When the coach was getting out of his truck, the truck was much closer to Billy's house, parked at an angle to Billy's Jeep, and there was a gazebo behind his truck instead of the field. When the coach was talking to Billy by his Jeep (which was also now closer to the house), the gazebo can be seen but the truck was no longer there or visible. Continuity mistake: Toward the end of the film, Hannah, who has had her face pummelled by one of the villains emerges from the creek having escaped the fire with only minor bruising on her face and a cut on the bridge of her nose. Immediately after that, they are rescued but her face is now deeply cut, both eyes are blackened and there is a deep gash on her cheek.

Continuity mistake: Lisa's glass was around one-third full. After she took a relatively long drink (leveling the glass to her mouth), the glass was still one-third full when she set it on the bar. Continuity mistake: There is no barn to the left of MacMasters' house (otherwise, it would be visible from the front porch), but when Albert runs from the side of the porch into the open, there is a barn. Continuity mistake: At the restaurant, the background varies a few times behind Beth and Jack seated at a table. When the background is blurred, a young man can be seen to the left behind Beth, but he is not there when the background is clear. (Despite the different camera angle, he should still be visible.) Continuity mistake: The rear of the steer carcass was on fire and smoldering, but not seconds later in the aerial view. Also in the aerial view, the position of the steer relative to Alexander was different. (00:06:00)
Continuity mistake: Ed Harris plays a property manager character and is featured in the beginning of the movie, walking with a pronounced limp, a seemingly painful gait. His character is shown in many other nominal scenes throughout the movie without limping. Most notable, shortly before the end of the movie, his character is shown dancing wildly, spastically, and jumping to music, seemingly unencumbered and fluidly, in a way that his character in the first part of the movie would not have been capable of doing.
Continuity mistake: The rope to pull the kid's sled was largely caught underneath the front of the sled when the "kid" started riding down the hill, but almost all the rope was on top of the sled moments later. Also, the rope getting entangled under the sled should have interfered with gliding in the snow and possibly caused an accident/injury. (00:02:42)
