Continuity mistake: David's [Ralph Fiennes] glass on the table is filled to within about 1" from the top. When he raises the glass to his mouth, the amount is about 1" lower, which may explain why the lemon slice is now floating diagonally instead of vertically. (00:01:36)
Continuity mistake: Alexander still had the mark/cut on his forehead, running vertically to the outer edge of his right eyebrow, when he found the "Mars" candy bar, but it was gone less than 30 seconds later (after he found the gun). Continuity mistake: Annie's car's steering wheel is on the left side, but her dashcam showed her on the right side. Both hands appeared to be on/near the steering wheel (not adjusting the dashcam), followed by a brief view of her right hand playing on a keyboard, then returning to Annie who was now on the left side with her left hand on the steering wheel and a cigarette in her right hand. Also, when Annie was on the right side driving, there was no overhead light on above her head, but there was after she moved. (00:15:32 - 00:16:02)
Continuity mistake: The rope to pull the kid's sled was largely caught underneath the front of the sled when the "kid" started riding down the hill, but almost all the rope was on top of the sled moments later. Also, the rope getting entangled under the sled should have interfered with gliding in the snow and possibly caused an accident/injury. (00:02:42)
Continuity mistake: The white gift box was placed on the car's hood near the passenger side front wheel indentation. When the female cop (Valerie) turned around, the box was at an angle, not parallel, to the indentation. (00:02:21)
Continuity mistake: Danny's car is shown going over the cliff twice - before and after Danny shoots himself. Right before going over the first time, Danny is shown with his right hand on the steering wheel but the second time with his right hand on the rifle (which is pointed toward his neck). (00:32:22)
Continuity mistake: When the terrorists take over the plane we see Eightball brutally stab a secret agent to death, and he gets blood on his face and clothing. In many scenes after this the position and amount of blood can be seen changing.
Continuity mistake: Numerous times throughout the movie (within and between scenes), the length of Amber's bangs varies - from above, to touching, and into her eyebrows. The length even changed, at times, from the beginning to end of a short telephone call.
Continuity mistake: Max Cameron's classroom appears to be slapped together and inconsistent. The wall is white but later tan. The door hinges are on the right, then left. The pencil sharpener, awkwardly mounted on the door frame, gets moved to the right. The hallway is a tan wall, but later just a closed door. Doors comprise the wall behind Dewey and there's a door behind Max, to the right of the white board. (00:59:55 - 01:00:43)
Continuity mistake: When Fenn finds the doll in the tree trunk cavity, shadows are cast in several different (contradictory) directions. If Fenn's shadow was in front of him, he was walking west toward the dead tree; north would be to his right. Examples: The tree's trunk and one branch were casting shadows to the south moments earlier and Geary and the tree were casting shadows to the northwest a little later. Geary's shadow was cast westward when Fenn took his photo with the doll. (00:04:28 - 00:06:47)
Continuity mistake: Sharyn's top sheet was messy and wrinkled underneath her while she was sitting on her bed, but the sheet was smoother and the top part was folded over/down after the doctor left and she returned from pounding on the door. (00:07:26 - 00:08:28)
Continuity mistake: Vivian is trying on a red dress in her dressing room when Lucille comes in to talk to her. Throughout the scene as the shots switch back and forth, the dress goes from being pulled up on Vivian's right shoulder, to off the shoulder part way down her arm.
Continuity mistake: Vampires don't like sunlight, but when Nathan was walking toward Elaine, the sun was shining through the windows on him. When the camera shifted to Elaine, the curtains/blinds behind her were closed, which would not enable enough sunlight to penetrate into the room and onto Nathan like it did. When Nathan was sitting on his bed, the sun was shining on him again. (00:54:00 - 00:54:45)
Continuity mistake: The choke chain collar on Mr. Bojangles was pulled snug against his neck with several inches of the chain hanging, then ends of the choke chain were hanging around his neck as loosely as possible (similar to wearing a necklace). When Detective Jimmy shines his flashlight on the slipper, it is facing the opposite direction. The second time Jimmy shines the flashlight, the slipper is at a steeper angle. (01:00:33)

Continuity mistake: There isn't anything immediately in front of the storage shed when Edee opens the door. Inside, looking out, there is some type of diagonal, long thin branches or vines extending to the ground, which are gone in the subsequent view. (00:09:42)
Continuity mistake: While eating dinner, Lauren has a glass of wine setting on a black coaster. After a scene change and return to the dinner table, an aerial view shows the coaster without the wine glass on it (and the wine glass is missing from the table). (00:38:32 - 00:40:18)
