The newspaper is called "Global Times", but it's not supposed to be the real life one, which is a Chinese newspaper (albeit with an english edition); the logo is different. The Bullet - S1-E17
Other mistake: After learning Carl Hamlin had been shot with a 9mm bullet instead of a .38 revolver, the detectives, along with Ray Murray from SID, return to the scene where they conclude no one could have shot Hamlin and left the study. Murray asked Friday if they had seen an empty shell casing, to which Friday correctly replies that "there was no reason to look for one." However, they start to look around the study to find one after already realizing that he could not possibly have been shot there.

Other mistake: Danny Stevens, an undercover police officer, is killed. The police agree to investigate the murder of his undercover persona, Steve Daniels, thus allowing the investigation of his death without compromising their ongoing investigation into the activities of a drug kingpin. The officer investigating the murder visits the kingpin to ask about Steve's murder. She shows him a photo of the murdered man, but the name across the bottom is Danny Stevens - the policeman's real name.

Suggested correction: His name is Harry Markham. He doesn't say Malcom.
