Character mistake: Marvin states Laurie's eyes are green, when in fact Susan Dey's eyes are blue.
Character mistake: The Captain's medal ribbon bar is sewn onto his uniform back to front, with the 1939-45 Star on his left and the 1939-45 War Medal on his right.
Suggested correction: This is explained in the final episode, as he took somebody else's medal ribbon bar in order to get into an event only open to "decorated" officers and hurriedly put it on the wrong way round. However, this is also a mistake. Although the Captain never left Britain, he would still be entitled to the War Medal and Defence Medal, so would legitimately have two of the ribbons he wears. And having campaign medals does not make one "decorated" in any case.
Character mistake: Sue White suggests speaking in Portuguese but what she says next is actually Spanish. (The subtitles incorrectly say she is speaking Portuguese). (00:04:00)
Character mistake: When the gang split up to look for the missing Billie and Tiger, Scooper says "me and Sticks will look up here" and goes upstairs but Sticks goes with Brains to search the ground floor - it's Spring that goes upstairs with Scooper.
Character mistake: When talking about poker Jimmy asks Dave "What are the chances of getting five of a kind of the same suit?" The most you can get is four of a kind and they would be all different suits.
Suggested correction: Jimmy says "in the same suit" which is slightly different than "of the same suit." It was just a weird way of saying the odds of getting a flush. Lisa replies with 504.8 (the odds of getting a flush). In poker lingo, 3 or 4 of a kind is taken to mean same value since 3 or 4 cards in the same suit isn't anything.
Suggested correction: Five of a kind is possible when using one or more wild cards, such as Jokers.
Character mistake: At the start, when Adam messes up Johnny's hair, it cuts from him outside the dining room door to him at the dining room door with no time to sort his hair out but his hair suddenly becomes perfectly done. (00:01:36)
Character mistake: Lorraine mistakenly tells Denny to "call 999" instead of 911, and when asked about it by Katie, denies having ever spent time in the UK (later revealed to be a lie). But this isn't some high-pressure slip of the tongue, she's highly intelligent and has been in America for a decent length of time, is working hard to maintain her facade of being born and bred American, so there's no way she'd slip up over such an obvious thing.
Character mistake: When Estelle gives her guest speech about the Tuskegee airmen she shows a slideshow. There is a photo of an airplane that she incorrectly labels as "a single engine P-47." This is not correct. The plane in the photo is a P-39 Airacobra. (00:19:45)
Character mistake: In "Movie Maniacs," the Three Stooges arrive in Hollywood via train, sneak into a movie studio and walk onto the set of a movie being filmed. A starlet looks at Curly and says, "Oh, Mr. Howard." There is no way she could have known his name.
Looking for Mr. Goodbrain, Part 2 - S3-E13
Character mistake: When Liv and Clive are talking to Chase about Katty, Liv tells Chase he had a cocktail napkin with Katty's phone number on it. However, it was only Katty's hotel room number that was on the napkin, which Liv saw.
Character mistake: Eddie, Spudgun and Dave Hedgehog all appear worried at the fact that the devil takes "virgin's blood." However, it is apparent later in the episode that the 'devil' is in fact Dave Hedgehog's daughter, meaning he isn't a virgin.
Suggested correction: Also, Eddie previously slept with the Third Viscountess of Moldavia when Richie's back alley kidney donation backfired and he collapsed, so he wasn't a virgin either, but reacted as though he was.
Although theoretically correct, bear in mind that neither Eddie or Dave Hedgehog aren't particularly bright, and likely forgot they weren't virgins.
Hedgehog's daughter could have been adopted.
Character mistake: When Rarity sees her cat stuck in the tree, Rainbow Dash is sitting next to the cat, but when you see her, her cutie mark is not there. (00:17:15)
Character mistake: When Clark flies to see his parents for the first time, he is wearing a maroon shirt and jacket. When he lands at his parents farm he is still wearing his jacket and maroon shirt. In the next shot, he has taken his jacket off which now has a rip in the shoulder, as he enters the house his shirt is blue, and then in the following shot at the table having dinner his shirt is again maroon. (00:30:00 - 00:30:50)
The Blood of a Jeannie - S5-E7
Character mistake: Jeannie tells Tony that she can't blink, then immediately blinks.
Break Out the Pampers: Part 2 - S3-E2
Character mistake: Near the end of the episode, when Ms. Rafkin stops by to see the Rush family, Sara greets her by name. Ms. Rafkin (who thinks her looks have changed due to a facelift) asks Sara how she knew it was her. Henry told her by her voice which she accepted as the answer. This wouldn't be a possibility since Sara said hello before Ms. Rafkin spoke.
Cat on a Hot Steel Beam - S1-E60
Character mistake: As the fire truck darts out from a back alley, the sign on a nearby gift shop window reads "gift's" when it should be "gifts".
Timmy the Barbarian/No Substitute for Crazy - S5-E18
Character mistake: In 'No Substitute for Crazy", When Timmy and Sanjay are leaving the school after Mr. Crocker falls down the well, a few cats come up to them and he introduced an orange one as "Omar." Later, when Mrs. Sunshine is leaving after being substitute for a day, Sanjay has cats around him and comforts "Omar", except he says this to a red cat, not an orange cat.
Character mistake: Mr. Lucas got himself in an embarrassing situation 'straightening the seams' of Mrs. Slocombe. Humphries passes by saving him by telling him that Mr. Granger wanted to talk to him, but he does it by saying "Griffin wants you." Wrong name. (00:07:45)
God Is in the Details - S2-E10
Character mistake: When Diane quotes the scripture, she says "Revelations." However, it's just "Revelation." Someone as smart as her who has read the New Testament (or heard it quoted) would know the correct word.
The Wedding - S8-E23
Character mistake: When Roseanne, Darlene, Jackie, Bev, Becky, and Nana Mary are dressing for Darlene's wedding, Nana Mary comments that all of them were pregnant when they married. However, Becky, was not pregnant when she and Mark eloped and they never had children together. Roseanne was not pregnant before marrying Dan. When the series began, Becky was 13 years old and Dan and Roseanne had been married 15 years.
